Try going via the main menu and go into Build and see if you can find the route there.

where do i luanch it i downloaed it and i cant find were to launch the route

The two routes i was working on one of which was a remake of my Idaho and Oregon Onatrio OR. which somehow broke, i think may have been a update was the cause, and the second which was going to be a surprise was Alaska RR which for anyone who has watched rail road Alaska would know the line.

However unfortunatly the file went missing or got deleted by mistake.
Which is a shame as i had started the route in Whittier AK (Which btw making the tunnel for cars and trains to go through is a pain in the arse and setting it up for cars to go through or wait was even more so.) and was around half way to Anchorage AK. and would have continued on.

Though i did say i would add more to this route, it's more a add your own personal prefrences so you can set it up any way you like it. As it's a model train set, so to speak.

As for now i have been taking a break from route building as i am kinda burnt out from it mostly from constant game crashes any time i start building on a route.
Be it my own routes i have made or existing ones.

Once i get a hold of a better high performance computer to what i hope will prevent further issues (Which what i currently have is a laptop that wasn't really intended for games.) then i should be able to get back into the route building.

Oddly enough, it did just what you said it might: the route just showed up in the Build Menu. I edited it, added my motive power and rolling stock, and it was good to go. Can't think how I came to overlook it; I must have looked everywhere else for it.Nice route, and many thanks.

Well hopefully it fixes itself or can get it to work not much more i can do to help as i already tried with what i know

Tried everything, clearing cache, refreshing files, shut down/restart, unsubscribed/resubscribed, still can't get it to run. I have the Academy, of course. There are one or two others in the workshop that act the same way, and subscribers to your route like it so it must run. This makes me think it's something on my end. I can fix most problems in TS2016, but this one has me stumped.

@dcshoe Did you try refreashing/clear your cache in the settings and maybe try restarting the game after you do? It may fix it not 100% sure it will but it's worth a try if not maybe resubscribing and if it doesn't fix it try clear cache one more time
Like i said in the discription all you need is Academy route which everyone should have got with the 2015 update and the Holiday Exspress so if it still shows up as unplayable dispite having it then i don't know any other sulutions on fixing it

I expect I've missed an essential step. I've got the Holiday Express route and I've subscribed to the Model Train Set, but it only shows up in the list of myWorkshop subscriptions, and it's greyed out there (unplayable.) It doesn't show up anywhere else. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Many thanks.

@sergeant_0ddball I am not sure if i will or not i have not been building lately on TS16 i will probably make more like these eventually however i have 2 routes i am currently working on witch will be real life routes one of which i am making is a redo of my Idaho route with better improvments the second is a secret which i won't reveal what it is until i get it done enough that i feel it would be ready for workshop however i will say it is a U.S route

I put an AI on both QD and free roam which i made a couple tracks mainly for AI to go on

the track i used was either from Us Loco & Asset Pack or Cojan Pass which actually that i think about it Cojan Pass is in the US asset pack.

Nevermind. I got it. Looks like a great route though.

What type of track did you use?

I thought so. Trying to decied how to make somewhat better and have more yard and siding play
