To set gold, I usually grind at my own level to see what kind of time I can get on a clean run. Diamond is definitely for the creative folks playing on a level which is usually beyond what I and other mere mortals can hope to accomplish.

I hope to make more levels which have the same impact. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Got my time down to a 1:59:12 (59th global) after coming back from not playing for a long time, is the fact you practically require shortcutting for diamond deliberate? Cause even the longest diamond time is flying all over the place.

That aside, thanks for making the most memorable hard level I played before moving on way back when.

I actually never disable flight, it' good for making a recovery. Glad you enjoyed it :)

It was a tough call, but I've come to conclude that this is the best level in the game as far as gameplay goes. I used to believe that flightless levels can never be matched by flighted ones. Thanks for proving me wrong :)

I've fixed the draw distance issue and set the difficulty to expert; the level is harder in cockpit view, so why not.

Strangely satisfying, eh? It isn't the hardest level, but when you're "in the zone" and you do a clean run, it has that effect.

Refract is working on a new fog system, so I will be able to close up the gaps where the skybox shows through due to the reduces draw distance in Unity 5. Yay Refract :D

I have tweaked the lighting to match what I had in Unity 4 more closely. I may choose to turn up the ambient light a little, but this should be good.

You're very close, anything under 2m08s will get you a gold. Try different racing lines, that might get you there.

Easily one of my favorite maps in this game, very challenging but not ridiculous like some maps.

Cannot for the life of me get that Gold, though! Even on what I thought was a perfect run (never letting up on the nitro, threading every obstacle just right) I only managed 2:09.361, short of that 2:08. What am I missing?

Some of the more advanced players have pointed out that some of the newer players are having great difficulty with the transfers; there is nothing wrong with the transfer so I'll mark the difficulty expert ;P

White has had a slow climb up the top rated all time, and I'm sure that is largely because of how hard the level is. I couldn't be happier with how this level has been received.

That's the idea. White is perfectly easy if you plan on taking four minutes, but threading the needle at full speed along its smooth and predictable curves makes it a whole different level.

Watch your framerates though, as much as end of time looks nice, it is hard to appreciate without booking time on a supercomputer.

Yeah, the checkpoints were fun to make. I had one hex power ring near the beginning too, but I never needed another one after the first jump by the start area. I'm happier with the blockers myself, they appear to be hovering just over the road.

Amazing track as always. I loved the black and white theme you gave to this level. I also loved the hex checkpoints! The flow is amazing too. This might be your best track in my opinion.

Yeah, most of these obstacles suggest a good racing line or are entirely predictable; this won't stop them from f'ing you up though.

I think your last few levels have proved my pet theory that obstacles that you don't have to react to are just as fun (and less frustrating) than obstacles you do have to react to. The track's nature is pretty simple, but it is still extremely fun to play. I can't wait for whats next.

I'm very happy with those blockers, even I, the one who placed them, will have the odd glancing blow or hit one of them. I will have to put in a good time later tonight.

The constant placing of the white rectangles got me crazy mad quite a few times, but the overall build is good
