can you fix capping just not working? kinda ruins the map for it to just not let you win sometimes

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MAP, it's just about everything I like in a good choke-heavy A/D map, but!

There are some real UI/UX problems that take down this map a couple of steps:
- Some announcer lines are missing, like when the intel is picked up, dropped, or respawned.
- There's no prompt to take the intel to the point when picked up.
- There's no intel icon that flashes briefly when you pick it up.
- The map never tells the player has to touch the desk itself instead of the misleadingly-marked cap area.
- And invisible Spies can block caps, leading to some cheesy (albeit somewhat funny) Spy plays.

All of this together makes it so new/learning players have a really hard time at the map, and in some cases even accidentally grief their own team without even knowing.
I'd love for these issues to be fixed so this map could go straight into the Top 10!

There is currently a bug on the map where invisible spies can prevent the intel from being captured by standing on the point, even though they are invisible and can't usually interact with map objectives in this way. Are there active plans to address this bug?

Is there a chance to add an answer for the administrator when the flag returns to the BLU base?
“Our intelligence has returned to our base.” for BLU
“The enemy intelligence was returned to their base.” for RED

would be good but uh it kinda isnt

valve should experiment with non-standard maps like this. sure, the map is kind of confusing at first glance but it's a blast once you get the hang of it.

i had a silly moment on last where we couldn't push through the RED defences, and we ended up getting a soldier to jump to the last "control point" with the intel whilst i was ubering him with the vaccinator resistances

So glad this map is now permanent, don't why Valve waited for the summer update to make this all year round

Does the defending team forget that they need to stand inside the capture zone to block the flag delivery?

hi. not a fan of this map. but I want to suggest; you should make the flag instantly despawn when the flag carrier is killed/drops flag, please.

the insta-cap is gross. but it could possibly be balanced with the flag not being able to be passed between players.

AND the control points should need to be stood on for 5 seconds by the flag carrier in order to capture.

Now you can play this masterpiece map not only in winter. Its very cool. I LOVE THIS MAP

they just re-added the map into CTF and then they change it to Attack/Defense XD
this is very good because the map itself is very cool, and now we can play it Anytime!

Is the out of bounds trick with the sentry jump patched out? I hope its not.

Please get whoever is at valve to remove the event-only tag. The map is a lot of fun to rocket jump on

They marked it as Event-Only map probably because of unique take on Capture The Flag, like they did with Crasher and Carrier. Seems Valve sees Offence CTF as too special gamemode.

Emerge was kept as a new all year round permanent map but not Haarp even though they both have snow lol?
