Hey Makuyi! This classic unit has persisted in my game to this day and with your permission I'd like to request to use this mod in an upcoming unit compilation mod I'm working on. I'll include credits as well as descriptions in the form of sections, so I'll have a section about each mod added to the compilation, then a link to the OG's along with urging peeps to endorse an like who did the bulk of the work. I started working on this once I realized Shogun 2 had a mod limit of 40-41ish meanwhile I've updated an fixed some of the various older mods. Thank you for creating these badass bow warriors.

Good news ! i hope we get the chance to play entire armies of cool women warriors. I'd love to play FotS with female brigades but so far there's only one mod that only allows you to create a single unit... it's a bloody civil war ffs, everyone into the breach !

Fiiiine, once the summer heat dies down I will relearn how to mod units and see if I can make a few more ^^

I am hoping to finish a mod of unique OP units for each clan. May I include Kaze no Shashu and Chikyu no Kanshu (with credit, of course)? For the record, I consider the ladies as OP, just not game-breakers. It is so much fun watching them cut down every attacking unit before it gets to them, before the enemy cav slices them up. I find the cherry-blossom trails beautiful. There's a haiku in there somewhere...

Man... can someone make a mod with Onna Bushi archers? No as special unit, just as standard, like normal Onna Bushi but with bows. Recruitable too.

Great mod but the petals somehow break the immersion, where can i find them in the pack file manager, and can i either disable or reduce them? (trying to understand how modding work for now ^^)

Modding tip: trim the fat. You should only include the necesarry files and specific lines that you are creating or modding. A mod like this should be very simple since you're only creating 1 unit. By including extra data you make it more likely your mod will clash with other mods.

Is it normal for the unit to produce huge amounts of Sakura petals when they shoot? The excess particles can potentially cause FPS problems.

This mod is exclusively designed for the Chosokabe in the Shogun 2 Campaign.



If the Chosokabe clan is destroyed, then simply conquer their home region and claim them as your vassal, and then you will be able to see the vassal holding these units again.

Like I said before, I kinda like the idea of them being a very special unit, and therefore unique, but I can make them unrestricted in skirmishes maybe? I have seen multiple people asking for that. so I will do my best~ :3

Still not fixed? Darn it, I'll have to go through the files again then... And yeah, only 1. ^^; Reason mostly to make it a very special hero unit, and not just one that can be spammed like any normal unit ^^;

Haha yeah it was crazy. I figured if I had patience and spammed 40 of them, I could fill up the entire battle field with blossoms. Prob crash my system :)
I'll keep taps of your mod. Great potential :) Will be cool to see what happens in the future :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try to see if I can make my own models for them once I have more experience, since I used a basemodel from the files to create them initially.
And yes, the blossoms need to be removed, I still need to look into that as soon as I have access again to my old computer, so my sincerest apologies for not being able to make any changes to this mod just yet. ^^;

That aside though, wonderful unit. Very cool. If you one day add some more variety to their faces that could be cool. Just a suggestion for the future :)

Just tested it and modified the packfile to make an army of them. And things worked well... until they started shooting on land battles of attacking sieges. Then it began raining cherry blossoms until I had 1 frame... So... If you could possibly remove or HEAVILY nerf the cherry blossom rain, I'd appreciate it. haha.
