These "Kaze No Shashu" are a Chosokabe clan exclusive unit.


These women have been trained in a safe enviornment from when they were very young, and have unmatched skills with the bow, giving them the illusion they are invincible in battle. They can lay waste to an army before any other archer has time to loose a single arrow, making them the ultimate archer unit.
However, they care little for things like armor or anything other than their bow, and their resolve is easily shattered when they see even a few of their own getting slain, realising they aren't as invulnerable as they think.

+ Removed some useless data that isn't changed by this mod, making the file size somewhat smaller.
+ Fixed the unit size bug making Bow Warrior Monks and Bow Heroes have insanely increased numbers, I have sent the extra men home and told them to get a proper job, maybe as farmers.

V1.2
+ Minor balance changes, should be a Bit more durable in melee and a Bit less ammunition so they cannot murder an entire army on their own. You will see them run out of ammunition in some battles, so be sure to use them on the right targets before you have to hide them in the corner of the map. :D
+ Minor cosmetic changes, removed helmets due to strange glitch making their heads invisible. Fan should be removed.

+ Added portraits to the units, now they should be easier to find. Yay! ^.^
+ Some cosmetic changes, they look more like a specialised unit instead dropping random helmets onto each person, and should have different coloured tunics now.

Planned changes:
- Removing the Whistling Arrows ability since it shortens their range and their "normal" arrows already have the whistling arrow debuff automatically applied.
- More cosmetic changes.
- Balance testing. Maybe trying to make sure they are exempt from all outside bonuses.
- Making them recruitable only in lategame, like Hero units. (This being the last thing to change due to difficulty of testing if I implement it immediatly. So for now: Have fun with units that are too overpowered for earlygame, or try to have some patience before recruiting them. :D )


Short FAQ:
Q: I don't see the unit anywhere!
A: Not really a question, but okay. It's a Chosokabe clan exclusive unit, so only that clan is able to recruit them. They are trained from any Archery building, so you should see them immediatly if you start a new campaign as the Chosokabe, seeing that they start with an Archery Dojo in their first castletown.

Q: Do I need any expansion for this mod, and is this mod incompatible with any DLC?
A: This mod works with the vanilla game, and most of it's DLC's (since they do not affect the Chosokabe clan). I do not know if it works for the Rise and Fall of the Samurai Expansions, since I do not own these, and thus have not been able to test them.

Q: Balance? This unit is overpowered!
A: Where I agree that this unit is Very powerful, and is supposed to be the ultimate unit for this clan, it is in no way overpowered (as far as personal testing can show me); once brought into melee you will see them vanish like snow in the sun.


Known Bugs:
- Bow Sound glitch: This mod has a chance to make some (or all, depending on your luck) bow units sound like they're firing matchlocks. A known fix can be found Here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?544459-Sinfonia-Semplice-%28Sound-Fixing-Tool%29
