Be sure to use the correct custom folder. It should be as followed: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom

Custom folder don't work too...

For those who are having issues for this to work, just go to the Insurgency workshop folder, copy the .vpk file and paste it onto the custom folder instead. :)

Yeah, that M16A mod that you linked should work just fine in-game MP, but last time I played Coop with that mod rifle I was on a custom coop server which a lot of things are changed, so try it yourself if it works on a random coop server, that's all I can tell you to see if it works for you. At the moment I'm using another M16 mod rifle that is on my mod list for Insurgency which I find superior due to the model having proper 3rd world view animations for the reload animation. Try copying the vpk file that is located in the workshop folder and place it on the custom folder, see if that helps.
