Seriously don't remove rimlight, just make it subtle and add a rimmask if necessary. No rimlight is just as bad as too much. The shader is for allowing ambient light to wrap around your model's edges in a somewhat realistic way, its not the white plastic wrap that it looks like in model viewer.

Make a too big for smash joke. Que Laugh track. Roll credits. Pack up shoot next week.
