@Plagued - what image path are you using? be sure to include the file type at the end of it too, like .paa for example

How do I get images working? Whenever i copy the image path into the module it says cannot load texture

@s-man - you just need to enter the class name of the sound file as definied in either your mission directory/description.ext, or as defined by Arma itself if you're after vanilla sounds. defaultNotification for example will give you the vanilla default notification sound

@Bax - should be under modules in the "Incoming Transmission" category, if it isn't there be sure to check your launcher and make sure the mod is enabled and up to date

Once there was a little boy called Joey, he was ten-years-old and he lived in a mental hospital because he posted a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ copypasta onto a People Playground mod's comment section . He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen: sorry man i am not taking the risk

@UselessFodder - you could just unpack the PBO with something like pbo manager to get to the scripts within, if i put it up on a github it'd give you exactly the same thing haha

Excellent presentation on this mod! Any way I could request access to the base scripts for use without the mod wrapper? I figure you probably already have them on a GitHub or something. My mission makers would greatly appreciate it!

V1.1
- Added Zeus module support using the same factors as the 3DEN module, so you will need images and audio predefinied in your mission to add them. May look at generic ones in the future (ie: Vanilla Arma radio chatter effects)
- Fixed dialogue box scaling
- Fixed text moving into the speaker name space if speaker name is left empty
- Fixed portrait alignment
- Fixed formatting issue from placing line breaks in the wrong places

@honger - there is currently no option to do so, I have it set where it is to avoid conflicting with most common HUD elements. May add options for that eventually

@Commander Kibbins - I'm about to push out an update with some bug fixes and a Zeus module addition, the image will still need to be set up in the mission files for now. I plan to add generic ones and generic audio down the track. No need for CBA settings

This looks really cool. I have a question about this, would it be possible for this to be activated via Zeus modules? Maybe as a broad 'faction' communication? Possibly changing the image that pops up via CBA settings?

this is the type of mod myoles would favorite before pinging the gc with some corny ♥♥♥♥ like 'lwk we should get back 2 arma', then thinpress asks him 'Why' and he responds with 'ive got plans' followed by a yakub gif while he queues up a 35gb modpack of addons nobody has installed to make the most braindead op imaginable for a grand total of 40 minutes waiting in vc and 30 minutes actual playtime where he rps as an op 'commissar' in power armor doing /events with this script, he then orders us around in zeus to kill npcs glitching through terrain being spawned less than 20 meters away from our position, while focusing his time blowing up APC's under the map because it wasn't meant for npcs, and props catapult around the skybox because he tried to spawn a military base ontop of a hill, meanwhile our screens get flashbanged by 'Arma 3: Go Karts' advertisements and whenever i look in 'that' direction (u know the one i mean) my fps drops from 90 to 20, all in all a lackluster experience

Just thinking out loud, I wonder if you could make it server-only by using missionNamespace setVariable [,,true] on the server on mission-start, where you store the code under a public variable, then use remoteExec to call that variable's code on each player's machine... Might be something worth investigating. Idk, I've never modded modules before so maybe there's some limitation that would prevent this from working.

@Dischingo - it is required on server and client so that the function can fire correctly and the clients actually get the UI elements

@Garuda XIII - I'm working on adding a zeus module for this at the moment, I do hope to have it out in an update today

Hey, that's me! The original original code was given to me by WebKnight, I mostly polished it to fit on all screen resolutions and moved the dialog box to the corner of the screen. Glad to have helped, I look forward to seeing what people make with this :)
