Really something that should have been in the relaunched by default to better integrate the DLC to the base game

Yeah, I got to the point in my first playthrough where terraforming was basically done bar rocket expeditions and I had already built 4 of the wonders (I demolished them for the screenshots) without really having to interact with any part of B&B. And realised that I had no reason to interact with it at all, as all of its upgrades were either minor except the drone hub range, which was just a research the tech and you get it upgrade, no mineral cost at all.

My thought is that some other buildings should also have exotic mineral costs, in the 1-5 range, such as the network node, hawking institute, magnetic field generator, core heat convector, sanatorium, cloning vats to name a few, so that there is a slow ramp up in exotic mineral demand, rather than than the cliff in the end game.

What an interesting idea! It makes sense, given how special the wonders are supposed to be. I am happy to try it out.
