I've nearly finished Reformed Pagan, it's the most 'saga-esque' of the main transitions - representing a potential history that never occured using real titles, sagas, and more.

After that I'll be looking at cultural splits for Swedish/Danish/Norwegian titles soon, along side religious and administration titles and knight titles when I get a chance to look for their flavorization/localization entries.

With the reformed pagan titles, I may be moving some pre-existing titles to new locations.

Alrighty, first wave of my Christian patch is out, enjoy.

Currently game has four different levels of titles for Norse Rulers

Tribal - Feudal Pagan
Tribal - Feudal Christian titles.

Next comes Reformed Pagan titles.

As in the last patch, the next patch will shuffle some titles around!

Sneak peak on some Christian titles coming soon -

Hertug - Vassal Duke
Greifi - Vassal count.
Keisari - Feudal Emperor
Stolkonungr - Tribal Emperor

As christianity came up through Denmark, Norse titles began to change.

The above titles were either given to other european christian rulers (Keisari/Stolkonungr) in norse, or given to norse christian rulers.

Initially, the norse cultures still would use Jarl and some other titles, especially when they were independent (which happened less and less for those smaller realms at this point in time).

Look at Hávamál or Kongespeilet for inspiration.. though Kongespeilet depicts later medieval Norwegian(Younger Norse).

Ok so when they split, make sure Norwegian naming and place names are similar to Icelandic, with their own letters and so on.
The Danes, Swedes, Geates all have their way, though sometimes simlar, but the Norse(Norwegians/Norsemen/Nordmenn/Normans) have ours, and Iceland is to this day the carriers of that language which we in Norway lost due to 400 years of Danish occupation.

Great work, but as a Norwegian I think youre treating some of the norse as one big samey group except Icelandic.
Norwegian and Icelandic would be the same, while eastern scandinavian, or eastern Norse is Danish and Swedish.
But Østlandet in Norway is somewhat more similar to their neighbours.

Examples is that in the eastern part of Norway they used the word Konongr, while western Norway and nortwards(Most of Norway in other words) + Iceland used Konungr.

You also have differences between Danes, Swedes and Norwegians, though Norse was more similar to each other then than the languages are today it is important to not for example mix Danish into the Norwegian and so on.

You could add a seidr magic system or ability if you want to add elements of the supernatural that reflects the viking daily spiritual life

Does this mess with EPE or CFP? I really want to use this but I'm wary of anything touching cultural stuff.

This mod has a lot of potential and I can't wait to try it out. Do you think you could post some example pics as well? Appreciate the work you've done here.
