@Laserdream - I changed the cutlass and gave it "ashen field". I checked if that would conflict with other instances of it and for me it did not. A similar custom made effect would lead to stacking fire weakness, this could get out of hand quickly.

@Eredaane - Yes you can turn of the previous mod and turn on this one in a running campaign.

If you have already defeated a pirate, the rewarded item will also still exist, since they are part of the new mod as well (except the banner!). But you probably won´t get a full reward set when not all pirates do still exist.

So, yep it works, but I only recommend if all pirates are still alive in your running campaign

Wait, does this work with running campaigns if you did defeat the pirates already? Or did not defeat the pirates yet?

@Skull - so it wouldn't conflict/cancel out with other instances of Ashen Fields. Besides Imrik, other mods occasionally use it. Hung mod does, for instance.

I am not sure how much needs to be changed to make the game recognize altered Ashen Fields as a different ability, probably very little.

@Skulls you can add Ashen Fields, Imrik's passive to the cutlass. That works. Although I'd recommend making a new ability for the purpose.

@CeboDeMacho - haven't tried, so I don't know tbh. If those pirates do exist there and their database keys are unchanged, then it will work. Best give it a try :)

Seeing as it's Khorne focused, you could give it "Disrupted!" contact effect, or if that's too powerful, you could give it "Burnt!" or "Disemboweled!"

You don't tend to see Disrupted and Disemboweled on many items so, would be fun :)

@Laserdream - Thx for that hint, wasn´t aware of this. I just tried to check if it is still an issue, didn´t find any info about it, so I guess it hasn´t been fixed. I will look for a different effect for the burning cutlass :)

This is awesome! this mod feels like something that should be a piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game content, it gives life to the world with new things to interact with and gain rewards by seeking out.

These effects do not work, IIRC. Only as a part of battlefield ability. Old bug. Unless they fixed it while I wasn't looking, but they prolly didn't.

Instant sub. Your ideas are excellent in this vain, and even though it'll probably be beyond you currently, I'd love to see you keep going and try tackling other things in a similar vain!

I've always fancied the idea of after defeating all 7, you end up triggering some kind of mini boss event or quest battle of some kind I dunno, anyway!
