the art at the end was a quick thing. i wanted to show something as a teaser, but its hard not to share the details until that character is done. but everything else art wise will be me. I wont use ai again for anything art related.
Just uh. Really, my main worry was that the WHOLE thing was AI.
I was curious to hear from Windy as i wanted to know the perspective, so thats also a good point. in this case its far from lazy for me. if i had someone to do my code, id work with them. its like if i was given the choice to dig a hole with a tractor or a shovel. im taking the tractor, but i still need to know how to operate it. Ai has so much flaws and i expect it to. so I genuinely have to know a few things or everything wont work.
as for right now i cant promise the next few characters wont be made with Ai. and ive found a way that works for me in making characters. i wouldnt have been able to make this without its help as i have tried to get assistance for other characters and that didnt go as planned (nothing bad just didnt work out)
again tho i appreciate your point of view, and thank you so much for letting me know that i left out the info here.
the idea that Ai "cant" be used shouldnt be. it should be limited and not sold. im not selling this nor am i trying to hide it. its just a character in a game.
may i just say im using it to help develop the character's code. I did the sprite work myself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

AI has helped me in many ways and ive learnt though other things and though Ai to make this and other character later on.
I did use code from other character like i have in the past to make this Zero.

Im not going to argue AI with anyone. but i will let people know thats what i used. im not good at coding but i can work around it a lil. Ai isnt even perfect and can give me some stupid responses sometimes that i have to work around or just fully ignore.

There's a good case why the official GameMaker discord doesn't want to deal with AI generated code with all the bugs you have to fix.

nair is a buzzblade that shreds everything and for some reason parrying his projectiles does NOTHING??? doesn't deflect it or anything??
Also, I found a bug where if the final hitbox of the shield thrown (final frame of the shield being visible) hits a player, it cannot hit said player ever again the next time the move is used, even after that player dies.
it's hilarious but oh my god i could never bring myself to fight a real person with him
It doesn't REALLY go around him, only just makes a quarter circle and disappears, maybe in my opinion... you could probably make him actually throw it, like make the boomerang into a projectile (could be the one that rolls on the ground or flies around and return back to you) instead of a close-range stuff (unless if that's being worked on.)
