While I have not been on my server long enough to see a rex yet, I am also not getting any error messages. I also have the chimpanzee mod on my server, and this method works for them. So, I am assuming that it will work for the rexes too. On my server, I just want the rexes to be a rare surprise for the players - not a regular thing.

You habe to add the indominus and the Steak to the types yes, just copy the bear types and paste it 4 times then replace with the indominus classnames, same for the Steak. And yes, for now, you habe to either spawn them with the bear in Events.xml or setup a new territory like with the Tigers (if youve done that) :)
Same principle (except if theres a sign but you cant read it).
What i mean in simple terms, if someone only provides classnames and there are no types, its safe to assume you make them yourself.
Same goes for why we have warning labels on washing detergent saying "do not ingest"...
Its common sense for most, but not for everyone.
I do not need to tell anyone what to do on their server, ive given everyone what they need in order for them to make it work.
I can and wont teach anyone what to do with classnames on a mod page.
And yes, you need to make the types yourself and events aswell.
was the answer to your first question "on how you spawn them", thats not a wrong answer.
It is usually done (like 99%) with events, same as any other animal.
But there are specific mods that you can use if you need exact spawns and spawnamounts, which in return is harder to set up (spawnerbubaku).
We cant know what you know if you dont tell us, so it was assumed you dont want to spawn them like vanilla animals (which is understandable).
Everything you need in order to run the mod is in the description of this page, everything else is on your server and every server owner can spawn them how they want.
Ive literally included everything for each of my mods (types and trader files).
Only when a mod only adds like a hand full of new items/animals (like this one), i dont include them cause its easy and fast to do it yourself.
I got around 2 hours of free time every day (on good days), can i ask you to spend 20 seconds to make the types yourself and about 15 minutes (youtube tutorials time included) to make the events yourself? You need to learn it anyway if you want to run a server for longer, some mods dont even come with classnames which are required to spawn anything.

I just want to do what others dont.
This mod does not require any other mod to work (otherwise steam would tell you, and the server aswell). Types are made out of the classnames and thats done in a few seconds at best, just coopy the Ursus Arctos types 4 times and replace with the dino classnames, same thing with the Steak, copy bearsteak once, replace with dino Steak classname.
None of that is on me to teach you, theres lots of tutorials on Youtube on setting up types and events for animals, you just gotta do some footwork yourself. :)

Both issues have been fixed and the update is out :)
Fix will be pushed today for the small version that outruns itself close to targets and that other animals attack eachother when they shouldnt :)

We noticed the strange behavior of those little dinosaurs—they just circle around you and don't attack. The large versions attack correctly.
Very sorry again for that, i will have it fixed in about an hour and push ut straight to Workshop :)
If thats the case i will fix it today, but weird that its only causing a crash for you.
There are a couple of issues it highlighted.
You have the following 2 classes :-
class Animal_MJO_Dino_ IndominusRexB extends Animal_MJO_Dino_IndominusRexA
class Animal_MJO_Dino_ IndominusRexC extends Animal_MJO_Dino_IndominusRexA
But the constructors for those have different names :-
void Animal_MJO_Dino_ SuchomimusB () { ... }
void Animal_MJO_Dino_ SuchomimusC () { ... }
Ill check with the films again and see how some of the areas look, thanks for getting that to my attention (should be very close to the films model, theoretically)!

I habe 50+ dinos planned, from flying, to swimming, everything you can imagine :)
Alot of juradsic assets aswell, plus a whole jurassic map im already building ;)
