@Nexis,
I was able to replicate the white square issue with Shadow of Death. It should be fixed now. Thank you for your patience.
While testing the fix, I also decided to lower the CRIT buff from Shadow of Death, so it's less of an auto-win trinket.
Class is quite nice, but sometimes having more various especially interesting enemies make the playthrough more interesting (don't get me wrong after plaing so many many runs with different mod classes having more intresting enemies and ecounter's is just more preferable..).
Here's an Idea; if it is within the limits of your skills, then maybe try to make an event with boss and monsters maybe placed in dungeon like "Town wars" and after it's completion that could unlock another boss or just a posibility for meating a wandering roaming ecounter that could happen in "Weald" dungeon.
I appreciate your enthusiasm, and hopefully you are enjoying the class.
I chose to reward the Salvage trinket with the quest and not the fight, so the player can see what they're getting ahead of time.
Would it be possible for you to make this whole class as an enemy to ecounter?
It seems that the loot setting for spgTrap_Boss might not be configured correctly. When written as loot: .code "A" .count 6 , the corresponding trinkets don't seem to be awarded. I believe it should be adjusted to loot: .code "SPG_BOSS_SALVAGE" .count 6 .
In terms of tone, that's the vibe I was going for. Redemption is a theme seen throughout the vanilla characters; but, for Springtrap that isn't a motivator: survival is. By beating him, you show that you're the stronger party to ally with (and one that can't enthrall him). Accepting him into the Estate represents a moral challenge to the heroes. What do they value more? Their morality or their survival. Each day at the Estate could easily whittle away one's resolve on this matter.
In terms of the quest, I've always liked the idea of a third party on the battlefield. You may see the NPC's again; but, I have to figure a few things out before I move forward on that.
As for how to use his abilities? Springtrap is a selfish creature. He can set up others with Mark or Bleed; but, he excels at sustaining himself. How much damage you get from him depends on how risky you're willing to be with his life (and those of his allies).
I did not mention it above, but Stress/Affliction is a viable build. Springtrap's Affliction is a dangerous double edged sword. It hurts and stresses others, but it also gives them various buffs based off of their Stress level.
I hope this helps. Have a wonderful weekend.
>Added barks to camping skills.
When you kill him almost dead... thats what we need from this game
Also cool mechanics that people helps you. But in first fight I was sure that Hellion will kill Me
But I don't inderstand how to truely use his abilities
I have not encountered this issue myself; however, my friend encountered it during testing. Best I could find thus far is it has to how the game loads assets. If you Google "Darkest Dungeon white square" you'll find people talking about it. It possibly has to do with running out of memory/having too many mods.I'm not quite sure how I can address this issue, as it may be an issue with the game itself.
That being said, my friend was still able to do the recruit mission and everything in the mission (enemies/visual effects) seemed to load properly.
I hope you have a great Halloween and relaxing weekend.
