thx for the time and effort you've put into it
- Added option to remove upgrade-based restrictions on skill levels.
- Made any successful quest count for Battlefield Tithes feat if the player is a ruler.
- Fixed issues with unlocking "Road Warden" feats.
Have fun!
@Nope! Hi, fixed!
@DekoTheFreako Hi, not sure what you mean, Retinues shouldn't touch tournament logic.
Using other armor mods as well.
The 'Road Wardens' Doctrine that requires you to complete '3 Escort Caravan Quests' doesn't seem to be working correctly in my playthrough. I've completed 6 total. 3 personally and 3 via companions and it still shows 0/3.
And on the same doctrine where it says you need to own 3 Caravans at the same time - I believe it's counting your notable's caravans as your own. I don't have any caravans but the 1 town I own spawns a few that are technically flying my colors so I guess the doctrine counted those. Not sure if it's intended.
So far all the other doctrines are working just fine.
Also love the new speed of the equipment screen. Such a breath of fresh air to instantly load between menus now. Thank you so much!
- Less RNG in retinues auto-join logic.
- Equipment screen set change performance improvement.
- Fixed issue that created captains before the doctrine was unlocked.
- Fixed missing equipment issue that could be triggered by mod incompatibilities.
- Fixed mount assignement to heroes.
@Core It already has a 1.3 version, you're on the wrong mod page: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3599557394
- Added equipment set count to UI.
- Civilian sets toggled by default for civilians in global editor.
- Fixed troops that can be upgraded from multiple sources being cloned multiple times (not retroactive).
- Fixed clan caravans not using custom troops.
- Fixed proportion of vanilla volunteers in settlements not being respected.
@hugo.beaulieu.camus Hi, yes.
@Heinrich Hi, yes like @Bobo said this is default vanilla behavior, not Retinues related.
And as usual if you encounter issues with the new version you can always rollback manually by downloading the previous one from Nexus Mods and following the instructions there.
@Lefty147 You're welcome, glad to hear it!
Hi, thanks!
Regarding formation classes, I offer the option override them (if enabled in the config menu) but I let vanilla handle them after that, I don't touch battle AI or anything. However in the game's code there are more formation classes available, like "skirmisher", "bodyguard", "heavy cavalry" etc but I'm not sure it's actually used by the engine or if they're old code left unused by TaleWorlds. I'll look into it, maybe I'll add it as an optional setting or something.
I don't have a patreon but I do have a ko-fi [ko-fi.com] if you feel like leaving a tip, thanks for asking!
If you have infantry with short, one handed spears and shields and prioritize shields in one formation while prioritizing pole arms in another, hoping to get your two handed pole arm troops into the 2nd formation, it'll still pull one handed pole arm troops with shields into your formation of two handed pole arms and vice versa. It's the most obnoxious thing on the planet when trying to organize troops before a battle.
Just an idea! Great work as always!
I saw you had dabbled with the change formation classes a bit for the troops and I love it but I had a request/idea if you're open to those.
Is there any way you could possibly create and add more classes?
For example if you equip a unit with a two handed pole arm they get a new class that has a picture of a pike?
Same goes for two handed melee weapons like greats-words or long axes.
(I'm sure there are other great and useful class ideas as well)
The current vanilla battle system has the ability to organize troops by pole arm but that doesn't exactly work well because the game doesn't see the difference between one handed and two handed infantry. Which is a big deal if you're trying to organize proper shield walls or anti-cav formations.
But surely that won't be necessary, try unsubscribing to the mod and its dependencies and resubscribing. What is the error?
See "Change Notes" for the list of changes, and also check out the update showcase video:

@MoonlessNight In the upcoming version the equipment list will be paginated, but for now I have to cap the list at 1000 otherwise it can cause a crash (bannerlord's UI engine can't handle that many rows). For now you can show the missing items by using the sorting buttons.
@Lefty147 Hi, what Retinues version are you on? I uploaded a fix yesterday for that problem, did you get the update?
@Ashunava Hi, no you can't copy paste from the global editor to the personal editor at the moment, but I'll look into adding that feature.
It was a hodgepodge of many mods and not a campaign I'm super invested in, so I don't have a problem with it, but dangit lol
Appreciate the work you put in
