あまり詳しくは私も知りませんが、明治時代に日本に輸入された機関車の多くは逆転レバーが右側にあるようです。日本の官設鉄道のオープンデッキの客車は次かその次のModが最後となります。初期の二等車について、1888年製のものを一種類計画していますが、それ以前のものは資料が少なく、制作が難しいものが多いです。
なるほど。運転席の配置は意図的なものなんですね？イギリスの機関車では運転席が右側にあるという話は聞いたことがあるので、前例がないわけではないのですが、かなり珍しいですね。九州鉄道は日本の官営鉄道とは違った慣習があったのでしょうか？
オープンデッキの客車はもうあまり残っていないでしょう。すでにたくさん作られているのに。車両リストで大きな穴の一つになっている、初期（1880年代）の2軸二等車もいつか作っていただけると嬉しいです。
There can't be many open-deck coaches left; you've made a lot of them already. I hope you will also make an early (1880's) two-axle second-class car at some point, as that's one of the big holes in the vehicle list

Is it intentional that the driver sits on the right? I thought he'd be on the left. Also, is there a chance that you would consider making variants with knuckle-couplers for the later appearances?

大変申し訳ありませんが、しばらくは明治時代より先の時代の機関車を制作する余裕はなさそうです。8620形に関しては将来作るかもしれませんが、それがいつになるかはわかりません。
