recently was successful in discovering against normal raids from enemy factions the military aid does show up. Issue seems to be isolated to the anomaly entities. Not sure if it just a problem with just the entities that spawn randomly during the monolith awakening or their raids in general.

@CNEIO in my case, goodwill/support points were deducted, notification of reinforcements on the way pops up. No reinforcements arrive and the map does have hostile units from the Anomaly DLC (metalhorrors, flesh beasts, etc). Don't believe the military aid was blocked by any unit, but this was the test from my current save, and done on home colony.

When reporting bugs, please provide more specific details. For instance, were the corresponding resources (Goodwill/Support Points) deducted? Did any notification pop up when selecting the map? If resources were deducted but no reinforcements arrived, please check if there are no explicitly hostile units on the map. If their arrival was unexpectedly blocked, please specify which units you suspect might have obstructed the reinforcements.
在反馈Bug的时候,麻烦把更加具体的情况说清楚,比如有没有扣除对应资源,选中地图时有没有弹出提示。如果扣除了资源并且没有援军,查看是不是地图上没有明确的敌对单位。如果是被意外阻挡,则说明有哪些你认为可疑的单位阻挡了援军到来。

ok update and correction, I tried requesting military aid using support points and good will on an active save (mid-game addition). The message pops up with x faction's on the way, and nothing ever comes. No error messages in console either. However on a new save or dev quick test it works fine

tried request assistance from the unsc faction, no reinforcements showed up and my points/goodwill was for nothing. This was also during the anomaly end game

+1 for the idea of delayed tribals arriving from the map edge. This could even be an optional setting in the mod for players who prefer using drop pods instead.

For my suggestion to have improved pathfinding performance, the group could be spawned from the map edge cell closest to where enemies are concentrated. For example:

- Sum the IntVec3 positions of all enemies;
- Divide by the number of enemies to find the center point;
- Find the nearest map edge cell to that point and spawn the allies randomly around it.

I used a similar approach in one of my mods to spawn predator animals near their prey: Hunting Grounds: Prey Overpopulation Control

I already love the mod as it is, this is just a small suggestion :)

这mod太棒了!终于让盟友系统没那么废物。只不过高级支援是波数变多,下来太多人免不了很卡。我想可不可以改成根据袭击点数刷,这样就可以被压缩袭击mod压缩。

@黑虎阿芙洛狄忒 在地图选择的时候会提示。而且地图温度危险时好感度支援直接禁用,支援点倒是没有被禁,但能正常叫人。你提到的大概率是没更新导致的问题

召唤援军的时候不会显示非敌对(原版援军会提示),可能导致召唤了出来结果援军不打;在地图出现温度危险时召唤也不会来人,还会扣支援点

在某些情况可能存在非敌对但是属于暗黑实体的异象实体(尽管我没见过),等会儿更新加上新的补丁

呼叫援军的时候,出现无法部署援军,因为该地图上存在暗黑实体的访客,卸载这个MOD就可以呼叫援军了

@Deus Based on the information you've provided, I can't definitively determine the source of the problem. Both of those scenarios should be correctly calculated, with one possible exception: if you called for aid while the mech boss was still inside its drop pod, it wouldn't have been detected yet.
Also, there was an update on October 16th. Before that patch, manhunter packs were not counted toward the threat calculation. Perhaps you could try unsubscribing and resubscribing to ensure you have the latest version.

There were enemies on the map. What I tested was a mech boss summon and a manhunter pack, both times no drop pods appear, despite the message saying "X is on the way" and a relationship decrease (if used goodwill).

@Deus The goodwill-based aid is calculated based on the enemy threat on your map. If there are no enemies present, then no reinforcements will be sent.
If that's not the case, could you provide more details about the situation? From my personal testing, modded factions like DMS work fine. As long as the faction has pawns defined for combat roles, they should be available to be called for aid without any issues.

Tried it and couldn't get it to work on any map including home base, it says that reinforcements are coming but no one shows up. Are there any conflicts with modded factions like DMS Rimdark and Milira?

@Palasis When you become allies with a faction, three new options will be added to the comms console. From there, everything works as described in the mod description, such as the ability to call in reinforcements to a precise location. If you are not allied with a faction, this mod adds no new functionality.

@baconizerfordays Imagine you are allied with pirates, and they occasionally send visitors to your colony. If you then try to call for aid from another faction that is hostile to the pirates, they would start fighting each other the moment they arrive. The mod prevents this by not allowing you to call an ally if one of their enemies is currently on your map as a non-hostile visitor.
As for dark entities, any entities you have contained and any ghouls you control do not count for this restriction. If you are still running into this issue, could you provide more details about the situation?

@虫妹的敕命 我自己测试了一下,最大袭击敌人数量5,开始压缩人数4,Mod正常工作而且友军正常压缩(主基地内召唤完全没问题),不知道你那个具体情况怎么来的——当然也可能是你没更新mod,建议重新订阅一下

@Techlich If you need a lore explanation: The Rim is not a kind place. Your allies see your potential through combat and will help in a crisis, because everyone needs a hand sometimes. My personal take: "Hey, we're bros! You're usually a beast in a fight, but you seem to be in a jam today, so I'm here to help!"
On a side note, based on testing, the Support Points system was overtuned by default, being extremely profitable (it has been nerfed in the latest update, defaulting to -50%). Its main issue was creating massive, unmanageable wealth from gear dropped by allies. For a more vanilla-like experience, ensure the gain rate is at or below -50%.

@ronny1441 Yes, you can call reinforcements to any of your maps with colonists present, as long as the temperature is suitable and there are no visitors who are hostile to your allies (e.g., if you are allied with Faction A, you can't call them if a neutral visitor from Faction B, who is an enemy of A, is on your map).

I'm sorry, I think I'm confused somewhere: is it any hostile creature you kill which gets you support points?
If so, why do the people helping you care? Or is that a "it's a game mechanic, don't think about it too much" sort of thing?

So does this use vanilla game's reinforcement system(?), or some sort of system made by you - and thus, will they spawn with CE's weapons + compatible ammo because of this.
