I would probably use the English Idiom "Forge your own path" so it would look like:
EN: "Forge your own path, Stalker"
UA: "Прокладай свій власний шлях, сталкере"
1. This is the mod I wanted to make all along but could not until a recent SDK update.
2. With this version I can setup the framework for people to do the same for languages other than English simply by editing the translation asset this mod uses. So if someone wanted to translate my datatable asset into . . . lets say Spanish . . . they could do so in a few hours and publish it as an add-on mod. With English Zone, it would be much more involved and take weeks to redesign all of the textures for Spanish, or any other language for that matter.
This is something I have been wishing for since release (would have been nice if you could use yur PDA to translate the texts)
Super!
@SiLeNCeR, you could not pay me enough to do that sort of cataloging, :)
@Robin, it's just because it is way down on their list of priorities . . . modders on the other hand don't have to deal with deadlines and PM overhead. We just make what we want and sometimes that overlaps with something the studio would get around to anyway.
I think they are just too lazy to search for every single graffiti in the game and translate it again.
Would also love to see the translation appear as a subtitle instead of floating text, would keep it from breaking immersion.
Otherwise thank you for this mod
