Sorry bout that.. I had to scrub the entire top floor caves system because I was not satiffied with it. So I am completely redoing it. I uploaded the wrong PAK file and work on complying with OSHA regulations...Thanks guys.. I'll get er done.

The latest updates with the upper section somehow does not show the wave counters anymore. Not sure this is now an escape map or holdout map because of that. The rifle ammo in the starting room cannot be picked up as well.

Some part of the upper floor stairs seems non-OSHA compliant at some part though, due to lack of guard rails, but I guess thats a WIP.

-Adjust the ambient noises and fading, made more eerie again instead ..I think
_Few adjustments to the Top 2 Floors.... go there on your on accord..lol . I did put a respawn up there in case you get stuck or fall to your death.

@sonic1775 You're welcome! If there was one other bit of feedback I would have to give, it would be to tone down some of the ambient sound of the metal and water creaking and wooshing, to let the more ghostly sounds come thing a bit more~

Thank you so much for the feedback. yeah, I have a game trigger set for when you leave that first living corridor. after that the waves/ zombies will spawn with a certain distance from Jodi... I thinking about changing that.. play around with it any ways. I have to work on optizimizing this bad boy also..lol

Great map, deceptively creepy atmosphere. Cant wait to see where it goes further. Only place where it was chugging much for me (maxed settings, 1080p, 16 GB 4080 super, 32 GB ram, 3.2 GHz i9 processor) was at the room with the burning elevator, cuz bodies started piling up.

Good to see how far this map has come. You've done a great job creating a tense atmosphere, for sure, with some of the ambient sounds that are all around. There's certainly a lot to explore and get lost in ATM.

Did you make it so the waves only start spawning when you pass a certain area, or after a certain amount of time? I was exploring the map for a bit before the wave counter came up, and only ran into enemies that seemingly spawn at certain triggers. I like that, having the additional spawns on top of the regular waves. Died to the duo of predators in the one room, and it seems like they despawn and respawn? Are they also tougher than regular ones? I could not seem to make them go down on normal, or maybe I was having bad luck. Thankfully those checkpoints made it so I could keep testing and trying the map. I tend to spawn them in on other mod maps too.

I hope to get it well optimized for everyone. Im running a 4060 super ti and some areas im at 30 fps.. I'll get it there

This map is well organized. eventhough the size is huge.

But optimization is not good as far.
Maybe, because of too many light sources.

3900X, 5060ti, 32GB RAM but fps was never over 50 when I set Medium Quality.
So I just fixed Lowest Quality to play.

I hope someday I can play with best quality option.

You can go up and check it out if you want , but zombies DO spawn up there so it can be a #$%@ show if your not careful , lot of places you can get stuck but if you want to go look . check it out let me know if like whats going on. @sonic 1775...probably a hard question but do you remember that monster that chases us after taking a shower in the main story? probably a long shot but i had a pretty big idea, if you're able to, the very top of the tower should have that beast at top to fight it for the finale. i know it's your map but just throwing out some brainstorm ideas your way

-Added Cafe, why? I got an itch. It also creates a passage way in the middle of the living spaces for access

-I hope nobody is afraid of creepy dolls..............
-Making honest attempt to adjust speed of Bathroom doors.. I know..they are a pain.
-Still under construction so you still may see boxes floating. Whats in the boxes you ask?.............

@crimson...I plan on it. One of those things i haven't learned yet. I spent two day trying to learn blueprints..lol. brain fried. Then I'll make a room and then change my mind because I think of something better. All in all this has been amazing experience and I am having lot of fun trying to up the horror factor for you all.

-moved the closets so that the do not pin you against the wall or the bed. If I missed one please let me know.
-Adjusted more lighting
-Added a Media Player for jodi movies but it is bugged for some reason. Ive spent two days on it. works in the editor. pass for now.
-Adjust some of the acoustic fading in the map .
-moved more structures around. slowly getting there.
-added more things that go BOO in the night.

Continuing to love the map with the updates - i'm noticing the performance is starting to take a bit of a hit though in glass corridors.

Random side question: Can you add clothing unlocks to vending machines? I'm guessing its not a thing, as ive never seen it done other than in the main story, and all workshop maps ive seen just have drops scattered around the map. Thinking if this is possible, it could increase time spent in the map, as I can imagine just grinding out kills for cash unlocks.

I'm liking these new upates recently!
I'm just having a small issue with some closet doors, in some areas, for example a closet near a bed, you may get stuck without any chance of getting out, because the door constantly keeps itself open since it follows your proximity, pushing you to a bed.

This also happens when they are next to a wall, gatting you stuck between the open door and a wall.

Other than that, it's looking promising!

Found an interesting bug, don't know if its an engine issue or a map issue. If you die by falling in the lift (don't ask) and then revive, the round counter stops displaying the current round/zombies and the body garbage collector stops working causing heavy framerate issues.

You can see the revive at 57:18 and the next round "start" without updating the screen at 58:35.

You can still complete the level, you just have no body GC or count.

@RollingCat.. Ty. That is exactly my plan. The map is so big it is taking forever to fill the rooms, do fancy stuff....so on, so I figured I'd make it a survival map until then.. But, Thank you Thank you for the feedback.... I love it.

It's great, very large and complicated map. It seems to have a great potential. In my opinion, if this map is used for escape game with several key cards, It will be much better.:steamthumbsup:

I have been putting hours and hours into polishing this bad boy up. That means... yes, I have many many more hours left to put into it.
You will still find many rooms incomplete, but I am working on it.
You will find some meshes that make you say..WTH. .. its ok. I am working on it.

I don't too much like it when zombies spawn directly behind me but that's more the games issue. When you put your back to the wall and destroy everything that walks, crawls, runs, or hobbles into the room frame rate start to suffer as the bodies pile up. There are times bosses, the guys with the split jaws, have a habit of respawning nearby or simply not showing up. Maybe it fell off the map and died? Not sure.

Otherwise the map is interesting a tad claustrophobic in some places while wonderful and open in others. A great looking arena.

Making a lot of changes to the structure
Added multiple sound affects
Added a fountain in a brand new wing.
resized some of the floor for later themes.

You will see a lot of meshes missing in some of the rooms but I am working on it. Let me know what you think about the sounds and if you like the new stuff.

Карта интересная, но в ней слишком много недостатков, противники появляются в огромных количествах буквально за спиной, невозможно пользоваться магазином - постоянно мешают зомби и крикуны. Слишком много тёмных мест - это очень большой недостаток.

-Stairs are open again but there is nothing up there to see for now.
-Floors 1 through 5 have Navmesh now so Zombies can spawn there. Nothing should spawn on
floor 6 and up.
-Added extra Hyperbox to the dome room until we get 100 percent completions across the board
with no straggling zombies.
-Just in case you can not full complete the challenge there are two Hyperboxes in play that you can at least store the goodies that you collect from playing.

Ty all.. I am still trying to unbug this zombie issue. On a good note I was able to shred this puppy down to around 1.5 Gbs or so. The door for the stair case I have bugged so it cant be used at this time. I trying to get all the kinks out before I move to other floors. I eventually want to make a time based challenge for this map utilizing some of the floors and the elevator system. For now, I am trying to fine tune stuff and at least make it operational for you all. I will probably put in an extra Hyperbox for you all just in case the match does not end and at least you can store the goodies you collected. Thank you all for your patience

A survival map with checkpoints, vending machines where you can buy dropped gems and invisible hands, a broken wave per zombie counter (am i tripping when i see a head only zombie staring at Jodi while getting clipped to the ground?)

Kill everything Until it is done. But this map has expected performance issues. Still a WIP map tho not bad at all. 20+ zombies and items lingering around the map, bodies do not disappear at all. And the door near elevator now gets doubled, means no access for the top floor.
12/10 Best Map Concept BTW.

The background music was pretty good actually. I could play the 1.3 GB version, and felt more atmospheric. I can't still find the last zombie... I'm unsure if this happens because I spend a lot of time killing and farming in the Lounge bar section... I can find teh weepers, but not the last zombie (or more if they are more of them stuck...)

Tested latest version, there's still one zombie stuck somewhere, and not even throwing smashers around to clear the map helps on this (the walls protect them it seems lol)
Also, seems some closets and areas are... golden? Like if textures are broken. Older version didn't have this issue.

So I just finished playing this last night and it's really good! Only 2 things that I noticed though was in the middle area with the blue door, I opened it and it opened to the same door so I couldn't go upstairs. The other one was the last 2 enemies. Took me almost 5 minutes searching for them and they were stuck inside a couple of rooms from where we first start. Other than that, this is a fantastic map!

Some issues with lighting in some areas (have scrs to show) and at the end when i walked into the boss enemy both timer and counter stopped, managed to finish the map tho, great work !

I just completed a run. I had to go hunting for the last 2, but I found them eventually. I do hit frame rate drops in the thick of a big group when I'm in tight corridors, especially when the hazmat zombies start exploding in a chain reaction.

Just tried it out and if I could make one small criticism, it would be that the spawn rates are way too close to Jodi. You end up getting trapped in one area, watching them spawn into existince. A harsh reminder that you're playing a video game that sucks you out of the mood. I don't know if it's possible to increase the distance at which mobs spawn, but if so, make the spawn distance at least as large as the size of your biggest room. Zombies should be around the corner, hunting jodi down. Not spawning fifteen feet away and then running at you.
