This might be the most dysfunctional up smash I have ever used. Any chance you can turn it into like a hitgrab so its guaranteed to work cause it straight up never connects properly

You mean when standing on the edge of a main platform? Causing her to appear to float on the edge?
I'm aware of that but not much I can do. From my research and knowledgeable devs, this is unfixable. Every character has the same standardized ground collision size, which leads to cases like these when the character is "too slim" it appears as if they were floating. I've been told we can't change it sadly.
If thats what you are talking about, its not that major of a problem if it even is a problem to begin with. It's an edge case that won't be visible unless you carefully walk to the edge with the intent of standing on the edge.

BIG ISSUE: she is not standing on the base platform of maps correctly. she is standing in the air basically. she sits fine on floating or high platforms but the base one she is floating. not sure what could be causing that but you should fix it X)

The amount of depth she has is SO good and fun to play around with, I kept wondering when the next Xenoblade character was coming and MAN I was not disappointed xD
It's way too soon but I already can't wait to see who's next. Just imagine getting to play Malos or Noah with a switch-out function for Mio (come on, you CAN'T have them separate....maybe)

Playing around with the new patch, ustrong definitely feels waaay more consistent now, and the killpower on flare nspecial and dattack's sweetspot feel strong but don't kill as early yet. The Fair building meter now is nice, feels more consistent with nspecial. And the pain sounds are better now.

Once again, nice character, love the Xenoblade representation, thanks for responding to my feedback!

This is great I like the way that Melia plays in Xenoblade 1 fits in Rivals with the different summons.

Was it an oversight that fair's followup doesn't contribute to building her meter? Because it seems weird that it doesn't since she is throwing out her orb like she would with nspecial, which does build meter.

To follow up on my previous comment with some constructive criticism after having played around with her more, by myself and with others, I do think dspecial could use a longer cooldown, because it is a very large area it threatens the opponent with and if they destroy it, Melia can just throw it out again pretty much immediately.

Dash attack's sweetspot and her flare nspecial feel a bit too strong in terms of kill power, more-so dash attack's sweetspot.

Her ustrong is very inconsistent in whether or not the initial hit will actually lead into the second hit, which feels kinda bad.

Lastly, her pain sounds are pretty repetitive and it gets especially annoying during multi-hits against her hearing the same sound multiple times in quick succession, maybe a longer cooldown between pain sounds if there's a system in place for that or more varied pain sounds.

That's really my only criticisms though, overall great character, lots of sauce, for sure staying in my roster!

Epic stuff, amazing seeing how far you're coming from your first mods. There's tons of depth here from just how her tools, simple on their own, can interact with each other and flow with each other. Great work, and blessed the workshop be with more Xenoblade content.

I'm actually planning on giving Rex & Pyra a complete redo to bring them up to speed. While Glimmer will get a big update, some re-animated/changed attacks, a couple changes in specials and mechanics, streamlining gamefeel.
In hopes that I can use what I learned over a year and a half to make them way better.

Still don't know who I'll make next because I have so many ideas!

ok having played her, I can feel why this took you a good while she feels by far the best animated and most cleanly fluid to play out of the three you've made (no diss to glimmer or rex I still play them both on rotation quite frequently) I will continue to look forward to any and all xenoblade characters you make
