Basically just made the map more like Halo 2. Closed off the back closet doors and replaced the back base lifts with 2-way teles. It did keep the mid caves open which I do agree was a nice addition to the map. I believe Countdown's only geo change was adding those little lips to the back base Health Pack plats so you can jump to them from the back staircases. Zealot closed off all the lifts and put a 1-way tele from the bottom of gold lift to the 2nd level.

@HeX Reapers I wasn't planning on any variants as I don't believe I can upload forge variants in the mod itself, but I'd be open to it and posting a file somewhere. I'm familiar with Zealot's changes, which ones did Canyon have? And yes Countdown is in progress, about to hit the polish stage.

@TonyTheDudeTV No plans to do any more Halo 2 ports. I have Backwash and Gemini close to done but I believe another modder (Pepper) is working on bringing the entirety of Halo 2 into Halo 3 so I felt it was unnecessary to continue.

Any plans for hardcore variants of Canyon and Zealot at some point for more sweaty matches? Both maps had some pretty needed changes to be played competitively. Having comp versions of both maps (and hopefully Countdown at some point) would bolster H3's sweaty map pool a ton.

Awesome to finally see Tempest in Halo 3 now after it was cut from the OG's map packs back in the day, feels like a nice full circle moment! :MCCHALO:

@DunkODST yeah it has been a huge amount of work. Been working on this whole project for over 2 years now. I still have tons of other maps in various stages of finish

@Rusted October it was relatively simple, the main problem is halo 3 lacks certain features that physics volumes have in Reach so it doesn't work 100% as it should. For example, the player will bounce around if they walk around up there. I've got some ideas I'll try out to get it closer to Reach though

@AkJackHd tags will be available when the project is "finished". it'll be a while. probably gonna be releasing the vehicle tags soon though, been holding on to those for years and need to get around to adding the last bit of polish

I am in a discord for Halo CE Custom games. But does anyone know of discord groups to join that have Halo 2 / Halo 3 Custom game nights? I want to play these maps with people! Along with all of the other workshop maps for Halo 2 and 3

I love this. All the changes make them feel like they are a missing map pack for the original game. Though,Tempest feels like the bloom is way too strong compared to base Halo 3 maps. Almost looks like the ground is glowing.

Please report any issues to the bug reports thread.

Currently Ridgeline's forge is bugged and you cannot place any objects.
