The laser is inferred. When looking thru the aiming scope. Which I highly recommend lol. You want to aim with the little player aiming circle in the center of the screen. Also, it has always been like that. I did however just add night vision to the drones. It comes on automatically when it starts to get dark out. You can see the laser in night mode.

In the past I recalled I could see the laser when using the drone to aim with, but all I seem to have to work with now is the drone camera and no laser.
Did I forget about a switch that turns on the laser?

Thanks a bunch ^^, and I know your issue. The drones are meant for long range reconisense, and they don’t like to climb up to altitude in hover mode for some reason lol. To fix it just send the drones out further away so they can have time to climb in forward flight mode. Once at altitude you can put in another set of coordinates to bring the drone back to the closer target. I hope this helps.

Im having an issue with the drones.
I punch in the coords. Fire one of the drones, and at first it appears to be going towards the coords (less than 2km away) but then it stops at a random point and begins spinning and hovering in the sky endlessly.
The only thing that stops it is when I call the drone back to the sub.

Really cool sub btw!

I added a set of dive plains on the front. Some massive lag improvments, and added manual pitch control to the drones when landing.

For the emp. The targeting pods radar sends a gps signal to the missile when fired. The missile will fly to that point and altitude. Pressing the 2 key will update that waypoint and altitude. So you want to watch the missile and target and update it as you see the missile close in. Just be careful not to target the misssile. You will know because the pods auto tracker will try to follow it. The missile has a 1km radar on it, and will take over tracking once it sees its target. I hope this helps.

I added a set of hydro planes to the front, and made quite a few physics improvements to clean up a bunch of lag.

You just turn the drone off. It will fly a pattern back to the sub. Then on final approach you use your left and right arrow keys to line up the drone to the runway. Also note, this only works when the sub is underwater. I hope this helps.

I made some adjustments to the laser ICBM's I widened there radar range, and added a lower flight altitude for laser mode when they get 3km to target to help them see the laser better.

Yes. They are mainly for anti aircraft operations, but they will also be good at attacking anything.

I am designing it to be an anti aircraft deterrent and general assault craft that the sub can use to help clear out pesky threats like in the game.

They are a one use only. Once fired they will seek out targets. I’m setting them up to have a very wide and far scouting range. They will continue to attack anything they see till they run out of ammo. Once out the next attack run will be a kamakazi attack with a medium warhead. However once deployed you will be able to update there attack zone at any time.

Its kind of goofy because depending on how close the player is to the target your trying to aim at. The land will be transparent and your laser will shoot into the sea. Making it act like its not even there, to get around this you can move the sub to around 2km from target, or if your far away the AI vehicles will make little zones were the land is not transparent. To tell you want to try and aim right on the vehicle using free aim. Then stabilize the laser right on the vehicle your trying to aim at. You will know it worked because the camera wont pan off target. Actually thats a good way to tell in general if the laser is working. After firing the ICBM in laser mode try not to deviate it to much, because its flying towards that GPS point and needs to see the laser in its cone upon arriving. I hope this helps.

how do you use the laser guided ICBMs? i launch the drones and aim them at a target but the missile's either miss or just circle above the target location.

I’m not totally sure yet. I might try to do both with this one. That way you can have them when you spawn the sub in, but also have a way to reload them when out to sea as well.

I’m a little late getting to it, but it will have 4 drones soon. I am currently working on a pair of fire and forget combat drones that will turn into kamikaze bombs when they run out of ammo.

Unfortunately the missiles don't have the best turning radius. They have a lot of weight on them so they do have a blind spot in the center of there circle, so sending them off to the side of a moving target, will have a better chance of the target getting seen if that helps as well.

similarly as the laser except instead of trying to find a laser. The missile will use a radar on the nose to search for targets, like tanks and ships. If the missile does not find a target it will circle looking for targets.

Laser guided mode can be a little finicky. If you not close enough to the land you are spotting. The laser will clip thru the land and the missile wont see it. Also when you fire a missile. try to leave the laser in the same spot. Moving the camera/laser can cause the missile to miss or not see the laser. I hope this helps.

for some reason, the laser guided missiles tend to circle around the intended target.
and they dont stop circling untill they run out of fuel. idk why

Ya ^^ it’s like that because you can only receive from one radio at a time, so I had it change frequency’s instead of using multiple radius that could add more lag.
