use the interaction buttons on the text or boxes at bottom of the screens. once you get to the weapons page choose the one you want and press spacebar

on the screens it should be called TPD, top left on that screen then changes the targeting, top right is fov, bottom left is IR, bottom right is brightness. then on the seat 4 locks the targeting on whatever its looking at and 5 sends the laser.

how do you target with just the pilot seat? I'm not used to NNTC mods yet.

there is a bit of a worse laser that the pilot can use, but yes you cannot use the big targeting pod solo
