Very cool mod
However if I can report one major problem that needs to be reworked until I feel like not doing it anymore, is how you set up the models, I recommend set up multiple bodygroups in one model in order and using CBaseAnimating's bodygroup functions to change the models instead of extra precached models to ensure people who don't have this add-on installed will not see errors.

If you did and it still didn't work, an alternate option would be to assign the physics prop to a local variable and use NetProps.SetPropInt(entityName, "m_CollisionGroup", 1) to manually set COLLISION_GROUP_DEBRIS on them.
Maybe not for everyone but yeah :)
as for the new models, maybe when im more free. i will let you know. one thing i was wondering actually is if its possible you could just make the code separate from the models?so that those who want to make their own stuff can just pick from a selection of models. a modular collection 🤔
ofc that depends on how many ppl want to make their own models but itd be a solution to a potential precache limit

im aware im being vague, but i dont really want to spell out my idea here simply cause i just dont want someone to beat me to it. if you're curious or skeptical however i am willing to explain the mod idea through dms or something. but even if not, tldr is that what ill post isnt just gonna be your mod with slight alterations, but rather something part of a bigger project.
There's no way to increase it to 8 maximum uses. Our mod limits to 4 because during playtesting we felt anything over 4 didn't actually limit your ammo, it was effectively infinite ammo. We wanted this to actually be a limited ammo mod. However, you can set every single pile to be 4 uses. At 4 uses per pile, you are pretty much at unlimited ammo already. As long as you don't fire off one bullet and then grab ammo. If you're say, in the finale and you only grab ammo when you're low you're looking at infinite ammo essentially. If you top off after one bullet, you may struggle, but the point of this mod is an immersive limited ammo situation, not infinite ammo with piles that visually deplete but the depletion has no actual meaning.
If you just want more compatibility with other models, it is something Rayne and I are considering. Either allowing people to send a full model set for a 4-3-2-1-0 ammo pile that I would handle myself in adding to the code, or Rayne creating some new models and having me update the code to include them.
