A backing track in the loading screen is the most glaring example, and the sound cues for entering/exiting combat play which are quite jarring when played with the SH soundtrack.
This mod is not longer working on the latest update. it has broken as of 11 Nov 2025, can you update it to 42.13.0 Multiplayer please?
think about those rabies ambient sounds (if you ever played l4d2 or l4d1) it would be cool
It actually plays in order from what I remember (maybe a bug based on how it looked), it's just some have Bridge's that might play at different points.
Traveling doesn't have one but it was long so I mashed together Combing Town west with claw finger, kill angels and then had it's outro by a sound from All (Sh1).
Gear Up is Lair of the black worm and it's bridge (usually) plays between 3&4.
Overrun is confronting the beast and it's bridge plays between 3&4 (both 3s might be random but if one plays the other will play, second 3 plays first).
Home finally is Laura, bridge plays between 3&4.
And holding out hope is Lurking in the fog (Which I didn't write down where the bridge plays so maybe it never plays).
I'm stuck on figuring out how to replace the "high_action", "tension", and "travelling" songs in a way that the dynamic music system likes (examples are Holding Out Hope, Overrun). The last time I tried there was a lot of overlap, and I had a hard time trying to find SH songs that had enough consistent stretches (30-120 seconds) to replace the several looping track files. If that makes sense. I'd love to know if you've found a solution or some better way to replace them
Which songs are you having trouble with?
