If I’ve made a beute / captured / trophy skin for that unit, it will appear automatically in that list when you capture the vehicle. For Now this is the complete list of the skins available: BEUTE = T-34 M1941, KV-1 M1940, KV-1E, T-70M M1943, T-34 M1942, KV-1 M1939, BA-10, IS-2 M1943, IS-2 M1944, T-34-85 M1944 and finished also OT-34-85 (Flame) (available in the next update) . TROPHY = Pz.Kpfw Panther Ausf.A

The developers have just announced that Texmods will be supported in Conquest (see Update 60). This means you’ll finally be able to use custom skins and paint schemes directly in your Conquest campaigns, with proper saving and preview in the roster screen.
It might even be partly the result of the suggestions I’ve been making over the last 3 months on the official Gates of Hell Discord — asking for exactly this feature. It’s amazing to see it become reality so quickly!
For those of us who love historical immersion (captured vehicles, authentic camouflages, emblems, etc.), this update is a real game changer.
At the moment I am focusing only on Germans, Soviets, and Americans. Finns are not included for now, since there are censorship issues that prevent me from representing their captured markings correctly.
It’s a slow process, because I aim for historical accuracy. I work directly from period photographs and sources, studying the exact colors, insignia, writings, and dimensions. For example, there are dozens of variations of the Balkenkreuz alone, and I recreate each by hand.
Captured tanks rarely stayed long on marches — they went into combat quickly. Historical photos often show them relatively clean and “new,” and I try to reflect exactly that feeling in my work.
I really liked your modification! It's good that someone decided to do this.
I have a question: do the Germans and Finns have a fleet of captured Soviet tanks (BT, T-34, KV)
What do you plan to do with them? Will you simply allow them to be repainted in regular Soviet camouflage, or will you do something else (such as writing about their return or removing enemy symbols)?
Yes, I admit, I'm looking far ahead (Maybe you'll only use popular techniques, and you won't even use the DLC).
Thank you for your response.
Sorry for my English, I'm writing this through a translator.
I also took the time to clarify how the enumerators work and how to integrate CVS into Change Paint Scheme — I included instructions both in the Steam description and inside the mod folder (two .txt files for users).
I really enjoy the camouflage patterns you’ve created for your mod — they add a lot of flavor. I haven’t jumped into camouflages yet, because Beutepanzers (especially captured T-34s) often carried unique, individual schemes that are tricky to reproduce.
Hopefully, one day we can push the devs to enable enumerators and texmods in Conquest before missions start — that would really open the door for more authentic gameplay.
✔️ The skins do work in Conquest and Skirmish, but they need to be integrated with the Change Paint Scheme mod.
Inside the CVS mod folder you’ll find step-by-step instructions in the file:
...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3555564277\info.txt
(path may vary depending on where Steam is installed on your PC)
Once Change Paint Scheme mod is set up with the extra lines from this mod info.txt, you’ll be able to select the captured skins after capturing vehicles in both missions/skirmish and Conquest mode.
And General Rubenski — I’m definitely planning more captured camo variants, your support means a lot!
