The idea is there but I believe the opposite should happen with all the vehicles, removing all the vehicle parts bloat (It also does not fit RimWorld) and replace them with plasteel and advanced components

Hm, I though it make as use regular engine, but not! Because I wanna say - It's good balanced mod. Because right now..... ahhhh, Shuttle really cheap.

Could I convince you to maybe make a patch that allows the Toad and Goliath to reach orbit? I personally want them to feel like armed sidegrades to the shuttle, not straight atmosphere-confined downgrades in every way.

Thanks.. you should look into "Progression: Gravship" it delays the gravship until the spacer era

This is nice, I was considering making this kinda patch myself, so it's nice that someone beat me to it, less work for me

Now I just gotta wait for a mod that makes the gravship a slightly later game thing. That or make one myself
