The best air exchange mod out there!

The atmosphere and ambience is phenomenal, is amazing, great!!! veeeery cool , so cool when ppl make a mod about beta stuff and cut content from the game.
Really nice work, the layout of the map is awesome, there's great scenery the metal industry stuff with the clean metal, kinda "medical" industrial stuff, is really cool. Again very well made.

It has great action, and very fun.
This is one of the best campains in the workshop.


Now.... some encounters with the enemies are very tough, too much enemies and with the ARs that are very powerful, plus the ants, that are annoying AF.
There's some enemy placement that is kinda bad , and i had a problem with the final stage, i destroyed everything but theres no end scene.

Overall, veeeery nice mod, hope you do more!!

yea, wow. I like this one more than Mission Impropable even, likely the best mod on this workshop

theres a seem in the displacement behind the last tower during the gunship rpg fight, and it's really really easy to get stuck in.

why is the door locked but nothing in the way i watched the walk through video and it shows there is a wooden board but to me there is clearly nothing in the way

Loved the hl1 theme of the hl2 parts that were reused, all the combat was engaging and I would have loved to play a campaign of this style even if I had to pay for it over that prospekt mod any day

first half was very well done, i enjoyed the mix of "Valve Beta Remix > Nova Prospekt Remix > Original Lvl Design" it flowed nicely and your interpretations of the Valve BSPs were enjoyable

once i hit airex_05 the quality dropped and I was met with softlocks because i explored unintended areas that were not blocked off and/or did not have kill triggers. the enemy placement also began to feel cheap and unimaginative as opposed to the highly polished design of the earlier levels.

one of the better fan air exchanges ive seen but still does not live up to valve standards. very good effort all around & the early levels are great for a solo mapper. with some extra work this could be great

This is amazing! Its quality on official campain maps.
But i didn't get to finish it. I get a bug or something like that at start of nova prospect assets, then door opens and group of combines comes out, my game just makes black screen and i need to close it with task manager

I love how you mix up Nova Prospekt maps with Half-Life 2 Beta design while also keeping Beta's eerie, hopeless, and unwelcoming atmosphere.
Even if large maps were a bit confusing to navigate through gameplay, at least the mod didn't feel like an incomplete game.

I wonder how long it took you to make this mod.

Idk if this is a me problem but there's a part where the game would "despawn" me the second I transition onto another map. What should I do?

es muy muy muy muy bueno cambia la apariencia de los soldados esta muy bien echo el mapa y bien decorado, ni mas ni menos cantidad de enemigos pero hay algunas partes que son iguales a half life 1 y 2 y la parte final es lo mismo que el mod de nova prospekt pero fue de eso le doy un 8/10

Me encantó. Tiene un aire fresco dentro del universo de Half-Life 2 y se nota el esfuerzo que le pusieron. Los mapas están muy bien hechos y te dan ganas de explorarlos todos. La atmósfera es inmersiva, con detalles que te hacen sentir realmente dentro del juego. Se siente como un mod cuidado, con identidad propia, y al mismo tiempo respetando la esencia original. Muy recomendado para los que buscan algo distinto pero fiel a HL2.

I really enjoyed it. Brings a fresh vibe to the Half-Life 2 universe, and you can clearly see the effort put into it. The maps are very well designed and make you want to explore every corner. The atmosphere is immersive, with details that really make you feel inside the game. It feels like a carefully crafted mod with its own identity, while still respecting the original essence. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something different yet faithful to HL2.

goated mod

Absolutely love the mix between multiple half life games along with its own custom. I did NOT expect a fully made campaign. I love hour long campaigns like these.. 21/10. This is one of my favorite maps now.

I am loving this mod, the atmosphere is fantastic and the outdoor areas are massive and spooky. I am stuck, though, on the level with all the plasma balls going up the wall - I'm at the top level and cannot tell what to do next.

The game consistently crashes whenever I load the next part when inside the yellow elevator after the Black Mesa tripwire section, are there any specific addons that may be incompatible with this campaign and causing this crash?

@htp76 I suggest that you play the moddb version because in the workshop the mods collide with each other and cause problems sometimes. Many players complained about stuff like this.

Would love to play it, but sone it startet, the door with the plank woulnd not open - i saw that there is a plank blocking the door on youtube video - in the game there is none....

I'm not done yet but I've played about an hour and a half. Spectacular work. There have been so many passion projects spawned since HL2 released 20 years ago that I love dearly, and it's dedicated people like you who make it possible. Thank you.

This was a very interesting mod to play through. You're obviously talented, I'd love to see what you do as a part of a team. I certainly have my complaints, but you've received plenty of in-depth critiques, so I'll leave you be.

I'd give every organ of my body if this guy made a weather control, vertigo, streetwars, or citadel. This is the best map I have ever played, in my entire life. If this was a movie, it'd get an Oscar award.
