I like this mod, but do you think there would be any way to set storage settings restrictions based on material? I want to set outfit stands for specifically devilstrand/thrumbofur/hyperweave clothes, while preventing "basic" clothes from being added

Great mod! One minor thing, the gizmo you added seems to miss, I think its called, "SoundDefOf.Tick_Tiny.PlayOneShotOnCamera();", so there is no sound when you click it.

Would there be a way to essentially turn outfit stands as decoration by making their materials and the value of the apparel on add to a beauty score?

Is there a way to make it remember its own settings, especially the race settings? I am using this mod and the HAR mod at the same time. Every time the gravship lands, its race setting resets to human, which causes outfits to drop, requiring me to manually adjust the settings again and put the outfits back in place. Thank you for this! Works really well once you get the concept down. The only thing that might be helpful is a pawn name label on each stand like beds. Best simple solution to gearing up so far without bloat.

Do you plan to add the function from armor racks to update the stand's filter from a pawn's equipped outfit? It's brutally painful to setup an equipment stand as is.

Is it possible to fully swap the outfit a pawn is wearing with the outfit on the stand? Like, if I want an outfit for when theyre working and a set of armor, I have to have an item on for each layer in both sets of outfits for them to actually swap. otherwise theyre just mixing the outfits up

Maybe we could have a button input for toggle to sell, so the items don't appear in the Trade UI.

Do you think it would be possible for the pawn to automatically equip the outfit when it is about to do the work in the room?

For example if I have a kitchen with a stand and I have there two items from vanilla expanded apparel - Chefs Uniform and Toque. The cook will first equip the stand then do the job and after the job they change back?

Same for doctors etc...

Those items from other mods adding bonuses to the task at hand.

Thanks for the mod.
A couple upgrades that would be great for the outfit stands:
- create storage rule from pawns outfit rule
- support for all layers added by other mods (medieval overhaul, ...)

Without the layers support, the outfit stand is basically useless, which is a shame as it would be great to have pawns switch between "combat" and "Peace" outfits.

Is it possible to make the storage policy change when initially a colonist adds all their armour like with armour racks? Because whenever a colonist goes to equip their armour for a raid and then goes to return it, it unequips all their clothes leaving them naked. Unless there is a workaround in place without having to manually edit the policy for each colonist already id love to know! Thanks

I’ve encountered a bug that seems similar to the reports from Fwiffo below.
When pawns try to return apparel onto the outfit stand, the items get deleted instead of being stored on the stand. The pawn loses the item, but it never shows up on the stand’s storage.

After some more testing and removing mods one by one, it really seems to be a compatibility problem with WRelicK's APP Utilities specifically: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2839443438

I use a couple mods that change the rendering like thigappe, yeah. Though usually in case of rendering errors either the textures disappear, or I get pink squares instead of those, i.e. when trying to use Mincho body types. The problem, however, is not that the apparel is not rendered - I would've been mostly fine with that. I got one of those errors when trying to put Kurin gear onto a vanilla male stand.

For some reason, with the mod gear gets completely deleted - when pawn tries to move it to the armor stand, the pawn loses the item but it never appears on the stand's storage. This would be the first time I see rendering affect actual mechanics.

I'll try removing them and see how it goes. IRL stuff comes first, of course, but I hope it'll help for when you do have the time to come back to it.

Logs seem to indicate it's an issue with apparel rendering, and it seems you run a number of mods I'm not familiar with that interfere with that. I would guess one of them is the main culprit as my mod doesn't change rendering in any way. Unfortunately I will be busy with IRL stuff for a couple of weeks, so won't be able to dedicate much time to investigating, sorry

To further add to the report: I have tried Kurin in the original experiment.

I have also tried a human on a mending stand and the normal stand. Every case led to gear being deleted.

However, after removing only this mod and trying to switch outfits with a normal outfit stand worked perfectly. I have switched a human, then switched a Kurin while the outfit was still set to male - the game gave a drawing error but was otherwise unaffected, and changing the stand body type to Kurin fixed the drawing issue as well.

I really like this mod, have used armor racks a lot before, so I really want to get this to work too.

Trying to use outfit stands instead deletes the gear the pawn is wearing for me. I have tried using them on Kurin HAR edition so far, changed the stand to match the race and body type, and tried to put several outfits on the stand while the stand is empty - most of the gear gets deleted, only 2-3 items remain. Trying to take them back from the stand deletes those as well.

I tried looking through several comment pages but noone else seems to have that problem.

I wonder if it wouldn't be too much trouble to consider allowing more than one weapon on the stands? That way it could keep really nice synergy with Simple Sidearms or similar mods. No stress though, this mod is great regardless

@khamenam did you add a fix on your own end? As far a i am aware HAR has not updated in a bit.

@piercebuster most of what you describe are KNOWN HAR bugs. Not to sure about the torso attire thing but the pink texture for things like Race, Bodytype and the like are HAR bugs that the Devs been aware for awhile now.

Hi, don't know if its already been requested but being able to swap the gender of the stand would be nice. since some clothes like UNA's have gendered differences
