@ WEWANTYOURSOUL works well in multiplayer. But likes other mods, it requires all players in the room to have mod enabled.

To change the viewing distance: Extract and directly edit the .set files
Edit the "end" and "start" value in the {haze} section from environment .set files, which in /set/environment/ inside the "gamelogic.pak" from "resource" folder in the game folder.
Before editing, remember to extract the .set files from .pak to the corresponding path in "resource" folder, like "**Game Path**\resource\set\environment\goh\single\05-eng\1945_03_24_varsity\day_01.set", then edit the extracted files.
(To preserve the integrity of the original game .pak files.)

@jiong1756622519 , Sorry, I just noticed your comment today. I've also changed the same description. I'm playing with it set to 8000 at the start and 8000 at the end. By making this change, I can clearly see the enemy even at the maximum range of the 8.8cm FLAK 36, and I can play comfortably!

@jiong1756622519 , after playing around a bit you can increase viewing distance by going into

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call to Arms - Gates of Hell/resource/gamelogic.pak/set/environment/dynamic_campaign/

(open gamelogic.pak using 7zip File Manager, or what works for you), go to set, environment, dynamic campaign, then you will see 4 folders (autumn, spring, summer winter). In each go find the evening, midday, morning .set files and edit them (right click edit if you are in 7zip file manager).

Within each of the .set files i changed haze to:

{haze
{enable}
{color 0xffc7ebfe}
{start 15000}
{end 15000}
{altitude_strength 0}
{sky_haziness 0}

This elminated all haze and i could basically see the whole map. Play around with the start and end values to get different haze/fog effects with regards to viewing distance. Compare with default values to get an understanding. Have fun.

Я правильно понимаю, что установка такого мода связана с проблемой, при которой необходимо, чтобы мод был установлен у всех, кто находится в лобби? Просто игра недостаточно популярна, чтобы требовать от каждого установки мода из мастерской. Вообще было бы неплохо сделать такой мод локальным, чтобы устранить эту несостыковку.

more viewrange would be very nice you have arty with range more thean 250 but cant aim and shoot becouse of the fogg . cane you do somthing like this

I would like to increase the visible distance myself, but could someone tell me which item in the weather file to increase to make that change? If that doesn't work, I'll wait for a longer distance version of the mod to come out.

@SturmFuhrer_PK Updated, now will only increase viewrange for vanilla map has a viewrange less than 250 Meters to 250 Meters. There should be no more performance impact for map already has a viewrange equal to or greater than 250 Meters (67% of environment sets).
