Its essentially a copy of the mining room but has to be its own to function as the gas giant mining room.
School does the same thing.

Its not supposed to be available on the colony because it can only be used in orbit of a gas giant on a ship. But this is another tiny bug with the API used

Its just the default name space for room buildings, I dont have the API functions to change that name space. School mod does the same thing. When you make a new room type that is not default to the game it generates a random name as a place holder

There seems to be a side effect to your Mod. This is a new save, and no other Mods were added. See the screenshot linked below:

I just believe in giving credit where it's due. I don't waste my precious points on Clowns & Jesters like the immature children of this generation do.

I'd rather save the good awards for worthy people like You & Lion. They're good for dressing up your profile, or anything else you'd like to use them for.

Due to a few things I cant inject the resources and have the mod work correctly. I will explore alternatives to make this more friendly with other mods

Well, it was worth asking anyway. Sadly, I can't use your Mod, but I'll keep it as a favorite, and see what happens.

If im not mistaken asteroids have ice doesnt use a modified solar system file it just injects the resource into the asteroid belts at the start of the game, but I will see what I can do about colabing with Lion

With his permission, couldn't you (or Lion) use the Ad Astra Solar System, and then add the Gas Collecting feature? It seems a logical way to go about it.

I love the idea of your Mod, and I hope you two could collaberate, and put this together.

Asteroids Have Ice - By: NABI works well with Ad Astra, and all that is, is collecting water. Yours is collecting gas, but both are essentially doing the same thing. Gas/Water, am I not understanding something?

The problem is because this mod uses a modded solar_system.nut file which is the core file for the solar system you are playing in. Mods like DisDus and Mod Astra also use a modded solar_system.nut file. so what you have when you load several mods that use a modded solar_system.nut file is you are overriding each mod's solar_system.nut file with another mod's.

The only way to make these two mods work together is to merge them. Maybe in future updates i can find a way to get rid of my modded solar_system.nut but there would still be limitations when using other modded solar systems because each planet has to be precoded if i dont use a modded solar_system file. So each new solar system mod would need to be ammended to this mod's list of gas giants.

I can understand using gas from those gas planets, but I don't understand why it would remove every other celestial body. It even took away all the moons orbiting those gas giants. It just doesn't make sense, and kills the Immersion/Realism of the Solar System.

Maybe a collaboration between you, and Lion would be helpful for those of us that would like to use both Mods.

This cant be used with other universe mods since it has to modify the gas giant planets

This Mod causes issues if you have: Ad Astra Remake - By: Lion

It removes all the extra celestrial bodies that Ad Astra Remake provides, and comes with an error that Miranda (a moon orbiting Uranus) is missing.

I've tried it several times with a new game, and the result is the same. I had high hopes for this Mod, but I'm not going to sacrifice Ad Astra Remake, in order to use it.:steamsad:
