I'm trying to fix this bug, but I won't use the Marienburg Caravan mod you mentioned. Please resubscribe and try again.

I've confirmed what LOLOlex said, and yeah, the crash comes from marienburg's mod and this one. Disbanding the caravan does avoid the crash. tried with 2 different factions. Don't know if its important info but there is no caravan button but the ! at the end of the turn before clicking 'pass turn'. I have also resubsribed to the mod in case It was outdated on my part

Great work! If the heroes obtained had unique models and character art, this would be one of the greatest mods ever.

Playing as the empire as Franz with the Marienburg mod and the Deer24 with the dragon Cathay Units and Faction leader mods

All of my caravan units are 6 marienburg units and 5 cathayan units and I mean all even if the caravan traits say differently

And I tested why I was crashing in some of my games still as Franz and I discovered on the turn when caravan has arrived it crashes, on turn 8 my Khemri caravan is next to Khemri so in turn 9 I should have the rewards right but it crashes

so I tested it, reloaded turn 8, disbanded the caravan, and i got to turn 9 no crashes, reloaded again didn't disband the caravan and it crashed.

Okay after I try Newest update the thing about malakai is working perfectly fine but only the caravan master trait that increase specific unit stats like thunderer range , thunder horn warding and other aren't workingfor some trait buff ; like 360 shield or stalk are working normally RN Thank you for hard working :) I just come to inform.

I have already asked the original author, and he said (Malakai) requires (Kislev caravans). After I update it, you can try again and maybe it will work:D

I am playing as franz and my caravan button is missing. It shows up on load in, but immediately gets hidden. I can still send caravans if i click through the turn notifications at the bottom right.

This version is the one I prefer personally, you essentially get to fight cool battles far from your homeland with diverse and powerful caravan armies. I don't like the idea of a caravan carrying 5k-10k in money having a weaker army that could easily be attacked by any 20 stack it comes across that slightly dislikes me. Love this mod, keep up the good work! :steamthis:

Why is every faction caravan amalgamation of random multi faction units? Dwarf with ogres high tier units mixed with normal dwarf and two RoR units??????????
And every caravan battle is mixed s*it with enemy army composition of 5 normal units and rest is high tier.

This is absurd and borderline unplayable most of the time.

They were not of the same type of trading caravan.
Cathay represents old-world carriage and horse-drawn transportation, while the fleet represents warships and train transportation. One cannot change the route halfway...

So this is a new mod and it will need to wait for the official CA update to version 7.0 before it can be used.
I will create this mod again for the High Elves, the Dark Elves and the Vampire Pirates.

Can you be sure that it was only one of my mods that was activated that caused this?

Or did you use some other identical mods that caused the caravan to display incorrectly?

Let me give you an example:
My caravan includes the caravan mod from the Golden Academy. If you use the caravan mod from the original Golden Academy, there will be problems!

Since I didn't change the name of this caravan, I merely reorganized the troops assigned to it.
Actually, I wanted to have the dwarves join forces with the troops of other races. So please do not substitute names.

Because if we change the name of the caravan, only the English version will be valid; other languages will not display it.

I can't seem to figure out why caravan masters do not spawn with the units mentioned in the trait description and are instead replaced by the default composition.
As Karl Franz I receive:
2x Burgher Militia
2x Hellebaardiers
3x Jade Warriors (Halberds)
2x Burgher Archers
2x Jade Warrior Crossbows (Shields)

it's too bad it's not compatible with Marienburg. Since Marienburg is much more than a cavaran mod, it takes the precedence over this one. Are you sure you can't make it work together?

The caravan is restricted to land, while the fleet is for the sea. They are not in the same mod.
You need to come back in one month after the 7.0 version is released.

Are you by any chance using the Marienburg Caravan mod?

If so, please disable it and try again. This happens because caravan mods built within the official Cathay caravan system are generally compatible with each other. However, if a new mod is created on top of another caravan mod’s custom system, then compatibility issues can occur.

Seems to cause a crash when other dillemas are scripted to pop up on the same turn as caravan arrival. Turn 5 empire start, dilemma to choose wizard pops up at the same time as caravan arriving at Kislev. This crashes the game for me. Crash stops when I load to turn 4, disband the caravan, and end turn as normal.

Tested in a seperate campaign save with just this mod and necessary mods, I could recreate the bug there.

But I originally encountered the crash in modlist of 150, and could stop the crash by doing the same thing of disbanding the caravan before the wizard dilemma.

Great Mod! :steamthumbsup: One balance issue I have is Late game armies rolling around the map with 3/4 stacks make it almost impossible to keep the caravans you've been nursing for the past 70 turns alive. (Especially against Skaven who you can't even see when planning your route) Would like to be able to send multiple caravans to the same location for reduced rewards. Stacking caravans for safety would be a nice option
