@DK Hey, the mod works perfectly, but there's a simple typo in the file that defines the building groups for the artillery industries. That's why the construction option is missing.

Here's the quick fix:

Go to the file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\529340\3529689813\common\building_groups\00_building_groups.txt

In that text file, change the line:

FROM: bg_artillery_foundaries

TO: bg_artillery_foundries (The correct spelling)

That's it!

Could you please update ? Cannon factories doesnt work with the mod.

For Arasaka i suggest the Sandevistan which can be a prestige tank. Would require add vehicles factory to it.

According to the lore, Arasaka started off as a manufacturing company that grew to prominence by supplying the Imperial Japanese military with material so IMO they should also have automotive industries to reflect the fact they also made tanks, planes and stuff.

As a prestige good, they could make Ararsaka rifles (Which is a nod to the IRL Arisaka rifles used by the IJA)

Currently trying to navigate how to make a simple mod with just one company, but I get overwhelmed with all the info. I'm trying to go off of the files in the Boer Cheese mod, since it only adds one company as well

@Vseman, I used GPT, first I sent a pompt with 10 images of items from the game itself, with the instruction of "These images are goods from the game "Victoria 3", Consider their art style and design to modify and recreate the next prompts I will send."

Then I send a prompt with a reference image of the item I want to create and ask to "recreate this image in the style and design of the 10 images I sent in the first prompt, with invisible background." I used GIMP to make some additional modifications and change the format from png to dds

Some goods were not so easy, because there are no good reference images on the internet. So you have to try different prompts until it creates a satisfactory image, which takes a few tries until you find one that's ok.

I have 3 suggestions: Lexcorp and Daily Planet (DC Comics, though i don't think Daily Planet can be implemented because vanilla game doesn't have newspapers), Gabriel (Miraculous Ladybug, this can be a clothing company), Eggman Industries (Sonic, you choose what type of company it can be)

Absolutely awesome mod, if I may ask what did you use to make the prestige goods icons? I love the CHOAM company, but I want the spice to look more like in Dune:Spice wars, I love it when it's purple. Would like to try and make a mod for myself
