Added: Moroccan Leatherworks (Morocco/Clothes)
Added: Omani Frankincense (Oman/Tobacco)
Added: Yerba Mate (Argentina/Tea)
Added: La Rioja Wines (Spain/Wine)
Added: Quinoa (Bolivia/Grain)
Added: Azelujo Tiles (Portugal/Fine Art)
Added: Galician Editions (Krakow/Paper)
- Azulejo Tiles (Portuguese fine art prestige good) added. Ideally this would be porcelain but there are already three base game porcelain prestige goods.
Based on what I know, there are ~59 "slots" available for me to add new prestige goods, though some of the categories (ie telephones, aeroplanes, tanks) may be a little harder to fill than others. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to shoot.
- Talaverra ceramics (Mexico) removed (base game has 3 ceramic prestige goods already) - mexican chocolate (sugar prestige good) added.
- Atlantic salmon removed from Maritimes (Nova Scotia/New Brunswick), now has Cape Breton Coal
- All countries belonging to the USCA (i.e. Guatemala, Honduras, etc) will have access to the Mahogany hardwood prestige good (in lieu of not being able to give them all unique prestige goods.)
- St. Johns Steam Tugs changed to Halifax Steamers
- Rioja Wines (Spanish wine prestige good) added.
- Fez Leatherworks (Morocco clothes prestige good) added. Open to feedback/suggestions on the name/good.
- Zastava Rifles (Serbian small arms prestige good) added. Ideally this would be artillery but there are already three base game artillery prestige goods.
- Beaver fur changed to beaver pelt clothes, moved from fabric to clothes (HBC)
- Sea otter pelts removed to create room in fabric, Alaska now has salmon fillets (formerly Atlantic salmon)
- Quinoa added (Bolivian grain prestige good)
- Tonka beans added (Venezuelan coffee prestige good)
- Haitian vetiver added (Haitian luxury clothes prestige good - perfume.)
- Pampas beef removed due to base game overlap (River Plate Beef) - Yerba Mate (tea prestige good) now available to Argentina.
- After some discourse on reddit, maple syrup has been changed to maple sugar (sugar prestige good.) The maple syrup company will now be focused on wheat farms (using the citrus orchards PM) and food industries.
- Cuban cigars (Cuban tobacco prestige good) added.
ETA for next update is uncertain, but a mod like this is relatively simple so it shouldn't be too long of a wait. Changelog dump incoming (open to feedback):
That is indeed somewhat disappointing. I'll keep the spirit of this mod alive but in the meantime the ambitious idea of giving every nation a cultural prestige good will have to be put on the backburner while Paradox works out this issue.
I'm still planning on doing what I can to fill out the roster - I'll just have to be more deliberate in my nation and good selections. Unfortunately this means I'll likely have to go back and remove some of the existing prestige goods I've added in order to make room for future ones, but like I said, not much I can do about that from my end. Hope to see the problem fixed soon.
Love the mod btw :)
Additionally, I'll be changing Alaska's good to sea otter pelts - I'm a bit iffy on giving any companies pelts/furs as prestige goods because the hunting/trapping industries are not represented in any capacity in Vic3. The company (and the HBC furs coompany) currently uses livestock ranches (since pelts are fabric variants) but if anyone has any other ideas I'm open to suggestions.
