Yes, the modpack I tested with has FU installed as well. Until now, all mods besides the Community Weapons Modpack, which is an old mod, don't have compatibility issues.

May I ask if it can be used on FU? I didn't see a purchase option on FU.

Updated, now if there is a mod that rises weight you can raise force applied to fly anyway, also did a test with 400+ mods installed and everything is working, only the patch up there is needed for that specific mod.

The wings apply force to the player, so gravity can in fact win. I'm updating it right now with a control function; this way you can fight gravity with it without having to use buffs to keep the player afloat.

Awesome mod, but the wings are coded so when you float, the gravity is just 0, yes? because the other mod i have, that affects the gravity(weight) of the player makes that wings are just slowing down your fall instad of flight. Again, awesome mod :P

I'll look up the error on frackin. As for the costs, I chose them based on difficulty and what players would want. That's why Flight only uses 1 solarium (the player just got to tier 6), but I based the ones from Omniblink on the amount of pixels I used for the art. It made no sense at the start, but when I compared it to its usability and if people really wanted it compared to the wing, I left it as it was; its derivatives were based on it, and the quantum blink was just what was left to get to a full number from the sum of the others in the recipe.

I have to ask: how did you figure out the material costs for the wings and blink? I could never balance the cost with techs like those—I would end up either making them too expensive or too cheap. XD

Visual glitch on tech panel when used with Frackin Universe.

I didn't add a dedicated flying speed control as of right now; when testing it, I decided on a considerable but not so fast speed (about half force compared to rocket jump). The thing is, if you have speed buffs on your character, you will have flight speed multiplied as well, and slow debuffs will make you fly slower. If I find a way to adjust speed with an item without breaking the current functionality, I might do it.

Also, yeah, I just searched again, and what you said is true. I might have seen that cursor blink was already a thing and just thought, "Yep, already done," and marked it off.

You're saying there are too many blink mods out there, which is kinda funny considering im subscribed to so much, and only BetaBound (I think) adds it for me

Also your blinks are much quicker when it comes to delay between uses, and that's fantastic

The teleport suggestion from Narriz was indeed a good idea. I thought about not making one since there are too many mods like this, but all of them (or most) were for the head slot, so I made my version for the body slot and added a version that ignores the view limitation.

I have a request

I'm using a mod (don't ask which one, im subscribed to over 400), which adds a blink ability on the head tech slot, and it basicly teleports me to my cursor location upon clicking F as long as there is no wall in the way

Is it possible to create a second variant of the omniblink tech that works like that?

Great, I'll be able to patch it. I'll update the main mod to prevent file conflicts and create a patch to change the item ID that conflicts with this mod. I'll create it as a patch since changing the item ID on the main mod would delete all older instances of my crafting station from the game.

It was a Community Weapons pack that featured multiple weapons, and utilized Dimensional Liquids and Solids to craft.

Thank you, and if there is any conflict, just tell me what mod is conflicting, and I'll create a patch for it. I just can't update the ID names on the main mod to not break them for people that are using it already.

I figured as much. There's another mod that has that same item being made.

Only if it has the same name, the crafting table name is "Something from somewhere", its name in the game files is "dimensionalworkbench" if you want to spawn it with "/spawnitem"

I sadly was unable to find the mentioned crafting table in Treasured Trophies, maybe another mod is interfering with it?

Overall, the flight technology can be operated normally, but I am worried that the subsequent interface may cause problems with other technical displays. Thank you for your hard work in troubleshooting.

After testing with 450+ mods and the most famous major mods, I could not reproduce that glitch. Anyone that got the split tech interface error, try to see its cause on storage/starbound.log. If I can see its cause, I can probably fix it. Either post the error here in the comments, create a Pastebin with the whole log and link it, or just message me with it on Steam, and I'll see what I can do.

I'll look into it. I tested it only with a clean game, so I'll get a heavily modded one and try to reproduce the error. It might be caused by the "immediately replace tech" line I added last update.

Hello, thank you for sharing your creation. It is very interesting and fun to use. I have not encountered any unusable situation yet. However, the only problem is that there seems to be a malfunction in the technology replacement interface. This causes the entire technology user interface to be misplaced/split.

I was thinking about the problem of having 17 items on treasured trophies too. I'll see if I can create a crafting station so it can serve as both decoration and a way to not clutter other stations.

That's a good idea. I'll add a patch to disable the particles soon (maybe today) since this is easy to make; the color system might take a while since I need to find a reliable way to do this on tech.

Wow what a great looking mod!
The flap animation is sublime. Excellent design overall. This will easily become one of the great/essential mods. It's also useful, and the Terraria style is a nice touch too.

Now, if we could change the colours of the wings and enable/disable certain particle effects on it... that would just bring it to the next level. I'm always looking for "realistic" wings for my Avians :P

Thank you very much. I tried making the best I could, so I ended up refining the mod until I got exactly what I wanted. Glad it paid off.

Looking at the previews gifs, I think the style, animation, and VFX, of this mod could rival other mods that provide techs that were created by other modders that have great experience.

I look forward to messing around with these wings when I decide to play this game again.
