yeah, i will be working more on City Hall soon to finish merging all of the new features and to restore some of the stuff that i reverted yesterday. i wanted to get a working version out ASAP & had to take some shortcuts. i'm finishing up fixes for my other mods & will return to this soon!

I like a lot of the new building UI the devs added in but the total yields per title (important for the exploration era science legacy path) are tiny and harder to see than you had them. They probably could have benefited from studying your mod.

version 2.2.1: hotfix for broken mod interactions
fixes a problem where broken mods could crash the main city screen
(they can still break other screens, so please disable broken mods)

@spacem0rph. Addon broke for me today as well, with symptom being that the city screen wouldn't opened. Fixed by uninstalling/disabling "Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments" from which I had a manually installed version from briefly after the release of Civ 7. Hope that helps.

@spacem0rph please make sure you have the latest update, by toggling your subscription off & on. if that doesn’t help, make sure you don’t have an old version installed manually or with CivMods

hey beezany...great mod, can't play with out it....but i have to disable it atm because i can not open a city screen...its only showing the map...any suggestion ???

@jonathanla the City Details button is in the upper-right corner of the screen, in the same place as the panel close button. the panel remembers its state, so if you leave it open it'll be open again when you go back into the city screen.

- allow Purchase of queued items (Quick Buyout)
- show progress bars for queued items

- highlight discounted Purchase costs for in-progress items

is there a way to reduce lag on this? on late game i still feel laggy and need to reset ui in order to make it smoother

@PO that sounds like it could be related to the problem that i'm fixing. it's a resource leak, so it gets worse the longer you have the game running. it resets if you reload a game or reload the UI with the debug console. after i finish this update, i'm going to do some playtesting to catch anything i missed in development.

@beezany I have tested it, and the only issue is that this MOD crashes the game during the exploration era. I hope it can be updated soon. This is a great MOD. Thank you, author!:steamthumbsup:

@prisoner06 it sounds like you are stuck on an older version of City Hall. sometimes Steam Workshop is stubborn about updating. please toggle your subscription off & on again to force an update.

This does not work for me. Whenever I click on a city it just hangs. I have disabled all of my other mods and tried just this one and the issue remains so I am pretty sure that it is the cause. Open to suggestions though :)

@kritz the button should be in the upper-right corner, in exactly the same place as the panel's close button. (i had to move it because it didn't fit into the narrow Production panel)

Thanks very much for updating this — I missed it. I do have one question: I have accidentally closed the righthand pane, and now when I bring up the city view, that pane is still closed and I can't find any way to open it. There used to be a grey button on the screen to restore the righthand pane, but that's gone away on my screen. Suggestions?

@Djonathan you can see all of my mods in one place at my Workshop page. the civ module system does not have a way to combine multiple mods into a single package, and i won't support two versions of the same mod. it's a ton of work, and it causes problems with mod interactions.

config options are a lot of work, unfortunately. i did set up my border layers so that they'd react to some of Finwickle's config options, if you install both mods. i'm not sure whether Border Toggles is still working though

@jonathanla thanks! those pictures show what the city map looks like in the main city view, in building placement mode, and in growth mode. it shows how the color coding changes, but some things remain the same, like the white outlines around the city center and urban core.

it's a popular feature, but it doesn't suit my playstyle so i won't be implementing anything like it. i prefer to plan my builds in advance with Detailed Map Tacks.
