i was getting some insane predictive yields on buildings during a multiplayer game like +40 gold on bank, but when they were built the city only reported +13. Any idea what that might be happening?

hey folks, City Hall does not modify the map tooltip. the problem you're seeing is because Update 1.3.1 broke TCS Improved Plot Tooltip. please see the comments for that mod. i've left instructions to fix the problem

Is anyone else having a problem where putting the mouse over a hex no longer shows you what type of land it is, what improvement will go there, or what building are already built? When I mouse over anything, I see no info. Is it just me?

- highlight wonder repairs in the same style as building repairs
- show extra buildings in overfull districts

version 2.6.4: better city renaming
- previously, custom names were ALL CAPS even in mixed-case contexts
- name editor now shows mixed case while editing
- events, lists, and tables show custom names in mixed case (as typed)

i'm sorry that i can't do anything about the situation with multiplayer and New Game configs. unfortunately, both of those systems are very strict about mods, even for UI mods like mine

@Kufuki Land are you using a saved configuration in New Game? if so, that is not a bug. New Game configurations have the same strict requirements as multiplayer, and they will reject any change in mods or mod version numbers. New Game configs can cause other problems too, like disabling or re-enabling mods that you've changed since then. unfortunately that system just doesn't work very well with mods.

Hi, I think there is a bug, when i start a new game, it say "additional content is required but either has not been purchased or is not installed content: City Hall (bz-city-hall v20602)"

@mason somebody else reported the same thing on Discord, said that "we for sure resubbed over and over again and made fresh lobbies multiple times only to get blocked" and nothing helped but then it "ended up working again even though we changed nothing, so no clue what's up with multiplayer lobbies." sorry that's not very helpful for troubleshooting, but it seems like it's a problem with the lobby rather than with the mods

@beezany understood. I've tried installing, then uninstalling the mod, but I still seem to get the version discrepancy error. not sure how to fix it. cheers.

@mason the mod does work with multiplayer, but the mp lobby is very strict about everybody having exactly the same version of the same mods, even for UI mods that don't affect gameplay. please make sure that everyone's using the same version (either by toggling your Steam Workshop subscriptions or using a manual mod manager like CivMods)

@beezany doesn't work with multiplayer. getting an error when trying to join friend's lobby (and vice versa) saying the mod is causing an error and that we don't have the same version or something.

@skaz88 sorry, i can't reproduce that with the current or previous version of City Hall. i haven't had any other reports of this, and i'm not aware of any mod conflicts that could cause it, but i'll ask around. please check whether the problem still happens if you disable all other UI mods

Thanks for the update, problem has been fix. by the way, I love the additions to the mod. Not sure if you can work on this, but I would love if someone can make a global unit upgrade. Having to upgrade each unit is very time consuming.

@ewilli12 that problem is caused by the Compact Production Chooser mod. it doesn't support the new features from update 1.2.5, which makes it incompatible with City Hall

don't feel bad, you're not the only person to have trouble finding the button! unfortunately there's no room for it in the compact Production panel, and i'm not sure how to make it more visible where it is

@beezany Thank you for responding to my exceedingly dumb comment. I did just figure this out and came to edit my review when I saw your response. A gentle suggestion, if it's possible, might be to keep/add another info panel button where the game initially puts it next to the yields in the city center screen. Since I was so used to using that button, the one in the upper right hand corner eluded me for awhile.

@zen.midas if you accidentally close the City Details panel, the button to reopen it is in the same place as the close button. when you come back to the city screen, the panel remembers whether it was open or closed. (if you are clicking the button and it still doesn't open, then a bug might have crashed the screen, but i'd need to see your UI.log file to see what caused it.)

I really like this mod, but it seems that while playing it randomly stops working and won't open the right-side tab again until I reload the game. I don't exactly know how to trigger it, but it seems to happen more often the later in the game I am.

@ParmenionGiant sorry, i can't reproduce that. what kind of "crash" are you seeing? if you are crashing to desktop then you should head over to the Firaxis discord for troubleshooting help, because that probably isn't caused by a mod.

otherwise, please try disabling your other mods to see whether it makes a difference. be sure you've disabled anything that is broken (like Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments) or incompatible with City Hall (like MantisMaestro's Compact Production Chooser)

Love the interface but the game keeps crashing when opening the city view after a production has been completed.

For 2.5.1, adding back yields in unclaimed territory in the Growth screen is so helpful. Strange that is disappeared.

@OmniScious are you using Map Trix? if not, you can work around the problem by adding that too. if you are, then you're hitting a bug that i haven't discovered yet

just found a bug that might break City Hall if you don't also have Map Trix installed. will have a fix out shortly.
