@Sleeper____ Jazzycat mod is third party mods, search google, download them and manually move them to mods folder inside Documents/American Truck Simulator
On the other hand, seeing a passenger car accelerate faster than you is normal; they weigh at least 10 times less on average compared to a bobtail truck (with many modern vehicles can do 0-60MPH in roughly 6-9 sec). I don't think it is that strange seeing a passenger drive past you really fast, and I don't include Muscle/Sport class here either.
I won't interfere further with spawn rate of commercial vehicle like GMC Vandura, however. I have already left them in truck_storage (classic storage in RTD edition ), which restrain their spawn by quite a lot in general, the rest will be up to base game or from the traffic density mod you are using.
Some other suggestions: The U-Haul vans should have Arizona license plates as they're all registered there. The GMC Vandura should spawn much less (if at all), as it is a very old van that has been out of production for years.
You are an absolute legend. I truly do feel you have created one of the best mods not just for ATS but in all of gaming. USCC adds so much to the game's immersion, as I clearly saw when I temporarily disabled it last night during my testing and had limos and all this other silliness spawning in.
In the v2.2 update, I have decided to delete the spawn_ratio parameter from all commercial vans and leave them to other traffic mods (or the base game) to handle. It seems like that wasn't going well according to you lol. Is it really that bad compared to before? Is it happening in a specific state only?
I can totally add back the spawn_ratio: for certain commercial vehicles only, like those GMC/Chevy vans. If you have anything you want to see being improved, feel free to tell me as well, I will see if I can implement it.
USCC is mandatory for me because the traffic is ridiculous without it. I saw back to back stretched limos and some other lame stuff right after I loaded in the game with USCC disabled.
Your mod is just so damn good and essential.
I think the issue is that with USCC being more specific with vehicles that will spawn, the Jazzycat pool is decreased and the game then just floods the streets with these vans to fill in the density quota. I'm guessing these vans don't have a USCC spawn rate tied to them.
While playing today I noticed a zillion commercial/cargo vans in Texas. Most of them seemed to be from the Jazzycat mod (seemed to mainly be the GMC Savana with the occasional Ford brand showing up) rather than vanilla cargo vans so I don't know if there is something you can do about that. It was a lot like how there used to be too many pickup trucks early on with your wonderful mod and you ended up fixing that, or how the Isuzu truck was. At one point I think I saw 4 cargo vans in a row. They had different company logos/livery yet still a bit distracting to see.
Also all add-ons are still locked at 1.54.* at the moment because I set it like that in the version.sii. You can manually move my mod into the \Document\American Truck Simulator\mod for the time being to use in 1.55, should have no problem afaik. The mod is already packed in the latest format so no need to do anything else. I'm just completing the update here before I unlock them.
Also noticed this specific add-on is showing as not compatible with the new 1.55 game version. I don't know if that is just an issue with the versions/manifest file with it only being set to 1.54.* or something else. I didn't bother to extract it and see.
