would it be possible to make the pickups manual?

I use vmanip manual pickup, and with this mod weapons are being picked up automatically. Plus my left hand is not visible on them sometimes.

Is there any way to disable chat hints?

not sure why it would do it, my addon dont change how weapons is picked up it just adds a slot limit,

it happens for me too, i will see if i can fix it, but as im not sure what they issue would be i might not be able to fix it

Doesn't interact well with CPickup and Smooth Pickup . If a slot is available, the weapon will be automatically picked up, and the animation will not play.

i would say its very likely some old addon that is creating the issues, the easiest fix would be to delete the game, and before you install the game again also go in and delete the garrysmod folder as there will be files left over,

i just tried to install arc9 weapons and everything works fine for me

Yeah, I've tried the vmanip one, Simple Manual Pick Up, and Cpickup. The weapons I'm using are arc9 but it seems to happen for vanilla weapons as well.

it works fine for me, and i have many different addons installed, some addons do not remove all their files when unsubscribed

what weapons are you trying to use maybe they have some scripting that breaks, either the slot limter addon, or the cpickup addon

have you tried other manual pickup addons?

I've tried cpickup with no other mods than the weapons I use and slot limiter, I can attest it does seem to break manual pickup addons. Maybe we can get a compatibility patch?

also try "cPickup" with this its really good and works flawlessly together from my testings

i added a +dropweapon console command, it is the best solution i got currently,

bindable with like:
bind g +dropweapon
