csgo-like manual pickup


Features that are cool
  • predicted
  • no issues with WEAPON:Deploy/Holster, only uses input.SelectWeapon [wiki.facepunch.com]
  • vmanip support, doesn't look too good but its there
  • cool pickup hud stolen based on csgos

sv_cpickup
0/1 - Enables/disables manual pickup serverside for all players.
cl_cpickup_equip
0/1 - Enables always auto-switching to whatever weapon is picked up.
cl_cpickup_hud
0/1 - Enables the pickup hud.
cl_cpickup_halo
0/1 - Enables halos around items that can be picked up.
cl_cpickup_vmanip
0/1 - Enables vmanip hand animation on pickup. Disabled by default because it doesn't look too good.

it got renamed to "cl_cpickup_equip" at some point for some fucking reason

The "cl_cpickup_alwaysequip" does nothing ingame

Just says this when using the command

i don't play gmod at all anymore but people are free to submit prs to fix any issues

it just uses https://wiki.facepunch.com/gmod/Entity:IsWeapon but this should pick up any weapon even if u have it already

Is it possible to have the addon class the grenade as ammo rather than weapon since they are in this weird middle ground of both the weapon an the ammo
