I'd like to offer my own idea as well make a branch mod to allow for more utility slot items because 1 I can wear a Backpack AND a Belt I can put a cellphone on a belt and I can add more things on my belt than just the cell phone clip.
as the game is I'm sad to say this mod loses for Mechanitors bandwidth packs and the VAE Ranged Shield belt and base game shield belts.
normally I'd use the mod: More Utility Slots but its not been seen since 2020 and it was an amazing mod.
but anyway keep up the good work this mods got a spot in my games, for child rearing & Base bitch pawns that can't fight, but that's about it sadly more slots would see more use from good mods like this.
Make the device a portable vitals monitor, valid only for the user
Medical Tend Quality Offset by +7%
Surgery Success Chance Factor by +5%
Immunity Gain Speed Factor by +2%
Add reduced trait effect "great memory"
×25% Skill loss rate
Why? Because I cannot dedicate myself to a huge project, but little-by-little a big thing can be built, and then it will be easier to reskin/rename the whole thing as submod, while allowing people to already play with parts in existing games without breaking the RImworld vibe.
That, or maybe FCP will finally release in full, who knows :).
- I do tend to play a lot of Industrial starts with Spacer enemies. The difficulty in my game lays in numbers of enemies/not using killboxes/setting up many enemy factions.
- I want RimTek mods to be "between industrial and spacer", giving more powerful options BEFORE you start messing with Advanced components and such.
I also have a bunch of mods planned in the same style, that I am really struggling to push out since it's my first attempts at coding, and I am trying to make sure they are:
- Working both on 1.5 and 1.6.
- Optimized and do not cause performance issues.
So if you can tolerate playing with slightly overpowered utility items that serve a certain role in making your life better, then I will excuse myself for now, and then make another pass at balancing.
Maybe an advanced component would be more apropriate here?
Since it's basically an upgrade from a gunlink, which takes an advanced component to produce...
