@every one else - Apologies for falling off the face of the earth for a bit, burnout got me. Per the devs of TWM, their next update will include their own take on the Gunnery School so I'll be doing whatever is needed to keep this working until their release, but probably not fixing much and definitely not adding anything. Once I know what their vision of the Gunnery School is I'll either discontinue this mod entirely or maybe piggyback off their work to add my own Amethyst units in to their version or something.
Yes. The units are very strong so they have a high upkeep to compensate a little.

TW Millennium should change the actual building requirement to the second tier of artillery recruitment building. You'll need to unlock the Trench Warfare tech node to do that. If your game isn't showing that change then it's probably a weird display bug. If your game does actually want you to build the vanilla building and won't properly unlock with the new one then that's a whole other bug to report.

I'm sorry, I don't know what's causing that for you or rambythezombie. Can you give me any other information that might help me hunt down the issue?
Windows 10 latest update, Visual C++ latest drivers, Total Warhammer III latest update as of 6/15/2025 latest version of steam.
I've tested it with those mods enabled and didn't have any issues, I don't know what's causing your crash.

Consequently, I don't think it is an incompatibility.
This one should probably be above TW:M, but with so many other mods it seems pretty likely there's some kind of conflict. God only knows what that conflict could be given the number of mods, but a good place to start would be any mods you have that might also be trying to change the vanilla Amethyst units.
Thanks for reporting that, can you give me a list of any other mods you're using and tell me if you have this one above or below TW: Millennium in your load order?
