You need to credit the people who actually made these mods and do so in the mods description above. You are trying to make it seem as though you did some work of some kind when all that was done is re uploading other peoples mods.

But Slav Jerry stole the sounds from other videos

@New Routemaster Fan If you go look at mods by Slav Jerry you will see that every single one has the credits for the engine sounds right there in the description. It will tell you where the base samples came from, who did the mixing and also who did the mastering for each mod. The samples come from various sources ranging from Jerry himself to SCS to people who were willing to make recordings and provide them to Jerry. Getting the sample is by far the easiest part of making an engine sound mod. Once the samples are gathered they need to be carefully mastered so that they don't sound like the game is just playing a recording when you drive the truck. The sound files need to be in a format that allows them to be modulated in accordance with the engines rpms in the game, how much throttle is being applied and whether or not the truck is pulling a load.

Everything has to be carefully prepared in Fmod Studio so that the engines sound right when you are in the cab with the windows up or down, when you are viewing the truck from the outside, whether the vehicle is in an open area, a tunnel, or even if it's being heard by another player that's a mile away from the truck in convoy mode. This all takes work. It requires you to learn how the game handles the sounds as well as how to manipulate the samples in fmod studio so that nothing seems out of place when the engine gets used in game. The torque curves, fuel consumption rates, engine braking resistance, idle speed, Rev limits and throttle response behaviors all have to be carefully laid out in such a way that the engine behaves the way it's supposed to when a player hits the gas pedal

This is just part of what goes into making an engine mod. Not taking all of someone else's hard work and reuploading it with the statement that You have officially made these engine mods. You see these comments here? You can tell people believe that you are responsible for making the mod and you're happy to let them think that. What are you doing in response to their requests that you add a bit more bass to this engine sound or make that engine sound a bit louder? Nothing, because you can't even open the sound bank files yourself and even if you could you wouldn't have the slightest clue what to do with them. Here's what you need to do.- First you get permission from Jerry to re-upload his work. Second, if he gives you permission you need to make it very clear in the description of this workshop item exactly who is responsible for making the mods used here. Until both of those things are done this is nothing more than theft, plain and simple.

@MadDog69 he cant add bass to anything because he didnt make any of these engine sounds. These are all Slav Jerrys and the way that FMOD sounds work is that they can only be opened and edited on the computer that was used to create them. Do a search for Slav Jerry and you'll find a huge assortment of engine sounds to choose from. He also has tutorials on youtube for how to create engine sounds in FMOD stuido.

this is just a few of Slav Jerrys engine sounds. Seeing as how you can add Jerrys engine sounds to any truck you want I'm curious as to what exactly this mod brings to the table?
