Mb something to make Kuat, Byss, and some of such important planets OP? Kinda like this mod except only for planets and structures for it (works for custom gc)

I started working on that a while back, but due to how many factions there are it makes it very difficult to figure out where to apply discounts that has a low risk of the AI getting a hold of it.

Once the AI gets a planet/building that has the discounts, your run is basically over (unless you enjoy long, drawn out and painful failures).

They can if they take control of any planet that can build the buildings in the description, which is why I limited the discounts for ships to the 'HQ' buildings for specific corporations.

I do have something for Thrawn's Reveng partially made, but the problem is that I have to make a mod for each faction at the moment. I've been tinkering with trying to make a single mod that lets me select only the player faction to apply cheats to.

I haven't been fully focused on this because work has been terrible the last 2-3 weeks and now the new RimWorld 1.6 update and Odyssey DLC comes out today, so it might be a while before I rotate back to Thrawn's Revenge

Notice: If you have had issues with not being able to build units, it is due to your infrastructure score being high enough to trigger the event 'A surplus of infrastructure has decreased prices and sped up production for you faction'

This will prevent you from creating ground units on all planets as well as prevent you from creating ships on Kuat.

To undo this, please intentionally lower your infrastructure score to disable the bonuses provided by the event. A fix will be coming soon, which will likely be a reduction in the discount provided by this mod.

@Freakydom I just released 'FoTR: GAR Cheats'.

CIS Cheats will receive an update tomorrow afternoon, I learned a better way to discount units without having to list every single unit for every single building.

Yes, I have one that kinda works for GAR called 'FoTR Kuat Cheats' but it functions differently. It was the "I have no idea what I'm doing" attempt at tweaking FoTR configs.

I'm currently on a binge with V-Rising (3 more bosses on Brutal difficulty) and then I plan on swinging back to FoTR then Revenge of Thrawn.

Additionally, it doesn't work for all HQs, please read the description to see which ones get discounts.

If you want discounts for ships, you have to build the HQs for the guilds. Because of the way discounts are built into the game, I can't apply them directly to planets. I could tie ship discounts to the factories, but I'm not 100% certain that would work without causing problems

Hey dude, why doesnt this discount affect ships? It only affects ground units, no structures, no upgrades, no ships.

Insertname, I got some more info on what the problem with the ground units not being buildable. My other mod, Kuat Cheats, is having a similar issue. The problem is that those discounts are only applied to the corporation, which do already have some discounts as designed by FoTR.

Regardless, I think I will have to change how this discounts are applied instead of adjusting an existing system in FoTR. I still plan on working on this Wednesday

I've created a GitHub page and opened an Issue ticket to track this (link at bottom of description). I'm usually pretty beat after work, so I might not get around to fixing this until I start my vacation on Wednesday.

I just remembered one more important thing, I ended up building a commerce guild building before I saved that night. That could possibly have something to do with this

You may have to unsubscribe and resubscribe, but know that doing so may jank up your save.

Worst case scenario, if this continues I will adjust how the discounts are being applied since I already planned on doing so. At the moment, discounts are applied directly to each droid factory template as quick & dirty tweak. I think I'm going to shift the discounts to either a 'hero' type unit or to a research type implementation so that you can toggle it on/off.

IF ANYONE ELSE HAS THIS ISSUE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! If it's wide-spread, then that gives me a better idea of what to look for. Chances are this is being caused by FoTR updating a resource at some point, such as when you unlock a new unit, causing this to happen on the next load.

Haven't been able to replicate still. I started a new BBY 22 campaign as CIS, built & validated that I had each of the droid factories on Raxus Secundus, saved & quit to desktop. Restarted game and loaded save, still able to build ground units.

Is this happening on all planets or a single planet? If one or a few planets, what buildings have been built?

Sorry for all the questions, just need to be able to replicate the issue to figure out the cause.

Thanks for the extra info, do you have any other mods installed other than FoTR? I'll usually start in the second era, so I'll load up a campaign from the first era and see what happens

I started a new campaign with the mod yesterday, booted up the save this morning and I ran into the issue. If it matters it's a clone wars small conquest starting at the beginning of the war. I can only seem to build a small selection of ground vehicles, mainly the snail tanks

@InsertName, I've loaded a save from yesterday, created a new save and loaded from that as well as saved a new save, restarted the game and loaded from save. I am unable to replicate an inability to produce ground units.

Did you create a new campaign or are you attempting to load a save where this mod wasn't on?
I'll try a few more things to see if I can't get the issue to replicate.

Loading a save seems to prevent me from building any ground units much like a framework crash
