I made an alternate version that only gives the guardians to players.
Although I am curious, why did you want a version of the mod that only gave the guardians to players?
Probably, I guess when I have some free time I could look into making a separate version that only adds it to players.
Possibly, the mod this is based on worked by manually adding the defenders to each faction. I could try to make a version that will only add it to players, but as for adding it to only human factions would probably just be changing the human classes to have one at the start.

It is up now, you can find it at the ling under the Addon list for this mod.
I currently have it unlisted until I get an Okay or a No from the PVE People on borrowing some code.
I always use this mod in a Co-Op setting with my friends, but I am making an addon that takes the Unit and Resource Donation from the PVE_Architect mod and adds it as rituals to the Citadel Guardian so I can trade unwanted resources and extra units with my friend.
yes, while I had planned on changing the name to accommodate addons (I am making a Co-Op addon to use with my friends) It will work the same to just keep the name as it was.
I will not be changing the name of the mod or file. So games previously using this mod should work again.
I did have to make changes to the file name for certain reasons, I am sorry for the affect it had on previous game saves. going forward there should be no more changes to this file.
