@redspikedball; Hi! Glad it's been fun. Most of what you're talking about is the hard work of the Dark Times folks; I just expanded the galactic map. Dark Times 1.6.3 edited the faction-file of the CISR/CR and changed their music events to match Awaking of the Clone Wars, seemingly with the expectation that the music files from that mod would be ported to Dark Times in the future; that is the reason the music isn't working properly for you. If they don't fix that issue soon, I'll patch it myself and release it on Galactic Expansion.

Amazing mod, I always love playing as CIS holdouts. It might just be a bug unique to me but I notice the CIS/Clone Wars era music doesn't play when I'm in space or ground combat. I also have a bug where my victories or defeats sound similar to the criminal syndicate as well as the in game menu looks similar to the criminal syndicate. Small stuff, just mainly from comparisons between this and AOTCW. Also in the future will it be possible to add stuff like re-activated MTTs, J-1 Proton Cannons and Octuptarras? Also Scorpenek Annihilator Droids or maybe Ventress or some of nameless Dooku Dark acolytes if CIS takes Korriban?

Please note, ya'll, that these structures are tied to the faction building files within Dark Times and not to anything I've yet-changed in Galactic Expansion. Mainly working to flesh-out planetary descriptions and flavour at this point. From there, I'll move-on to edit the construction-related stuff for particular planets. Thanks for your patience.

@Leto i'm having the same issue as i can't build shipyards on planets that were added in this mod.

Hi Iam playing as Empire. Some of the new planets that are descriped as mining planets dont give me the option to build mines after i conquered them, also the Planet near Coruscant that is supposed to hold an imperial Palace does not give me the option to upgrade the Governor Residence.

@Dr. Quackers; That's a hell of a post there. This mod, in its present version, does not affect units of any kind in any way. The bug you're describing could only originate from base AotR or from DT.

Also, remember the most important rules of playing Empire at War in 2025:
1. Save often, and with at least one backup.
2. Do NOT save when the game is paused or during battles of any kind, ever.

refugee bug refugee became stuck on stealth stack after invading a planet later with that stealth stack that had a the bugged refugee attached i invaded a planet won. This is where all hell broke loose moving that stack to another world casued its units to disappear. they were still spawned becasue the heors attached were still alive and clicking on there pictures in the top right took me to the planet but they were gone.when i moved a fleet there and they came in contact with that stack they disappeared but were also still present as my unit cap did not go down.
Almost like the units are in a limbo present but not present.

Loving this mod so far. Had a hard crash on a GC as the Clone rebellion but i gained knowledge from that play-through and have started another run. I'm having trouble understanding the mining planets though because after i conquer them i dont get the option to create mining stations. Is that because i need to fulfill certain requirements or is this a WIP thing? Im cool either way and trying to work around it so no rush or anything, just wanted to know if and what i was doin wrong

As I refine things, I do plan to assign static starting forces to fill-out the map. For now, enjoy the blitz gameplay.

Do you plan on adding starting forces & stuff for a lot of the new worlds? Most of the new planets are just insta-captures, which is weird with the gameplay flow of the normal worlds more or less having some level of defense. I just assume it's WIP, great work anyhow

Version 1.4 (Beta) has been released! Initially compatible with 1.6.3. Please feel free to let me know what bugs you find around, but bear in mind that this is absolutely a W.I.P. version; released simply to allow you to get back to playing. Cheers!

Quick little question, How or where do you build Leia? Shes literally a hero that has the scout feature to move to any planet on the map and that makes her very useful for some of the prototype missions. Mon mothma spawns on Yavin and cant go anywhere. I was just wondering if Leia can be built anywhere. I tried Alderran, Yavin, Commenor, Hoth, but no luck.

@Dr. Quackers M.D. Set your games to only update when you play them, then only begin to play them in offline mode, with the internet off (this does not work if you try to change the steammod set in the properties, as it will always revert to the basegame and will not work when the Rimworld version itself changes) but with Rimworld you can always revert to previous versions by going into properties then betas and reverting to a previous version of the game. This will not work with mods on Steam, except for Thrawn's Revenge which has various un-updated steammods which you can access from Moddb and changing EAW to the 32-bit version, as well as Awakening, which lets you access older versions so you can go back to Dark Times 1.4. Dark Times does not however support the version that this mod ran on anymore, so you will just have to run a new version of the game and hope this submod updates.

Damn that sucks after a year of learning i was finally surviving on a rebel game on medium and now its gone. Why does my luck always have me starting games right before update, fallout 4 super special next gen update, Project zomboid build .42, rimworld 1.6!!!!!! Now I have to worry about a 10 year old game i thought would be safe from this nightmare of update avalanches! One entire year of playing all my modded games with out issue is all i am asking for universe!!!

@MiAh The King - Thank you. So yeah, that means I have not yet taken the time to update this from DT 1.5 to DT 1.6.1, and as such, attempting to play it with the latest version will almost certainly be riddled with bugs. I'll be getting around to updating it when I have a wee-bit more free-time, or update it for DT 3.0 when that finally arrives; whichever comes first.

If you'd like to continue playing with GE, I'd suggest using the older version of Dark Times, v1.5, for the least-buggy experience. (Still has plenty of bugs, though... :S)

Hi guys! So I was just married a couple of weeks ago, and am currently ramping up with work. I will *try* to spare some time to update for DT 1.6.1, however I had made no plans to update Galactic Expansion until the release of DT 3.0, truth be told. Your patience is appreciated. :)

GAME BREAKING BUG:
Idk what's happening. I'm pretty deep into the game. Like week 100 or something like that and playing as imperials. (Also previous questions asked not answered yet).

Anyway the rebellion is doing research and it just says space research but every time it counts down to 3 minutes it freezes the entire game. I've tried reinstalling, rebooting, reloading and this KEEPS happening. I can't even play anymore and just lost days of progress. PLEASE HELP

I see jan dodonna as a hero for the empire in that first screenshot but when playing the game he's not there for me. Why?

Also I see 2 mon calamari admirals for the rebels? but upon playing I only saw the one on the left. (the blue one). Why?

I've got all 3 mods included above installed and used the steammod input you suggested but are they restricted by story? time frame? research? thanks in advance!
