Even if you don't have the DLC, you should still be updated to 1.5.2. Verify your game files. This mod doesn't rely on any DLC assets; however, your levels files for Trosky and Kutternberg MUST match the 1.5.2 game version.

Compatible with or up to 1.5.2? I'm not using any DLCs so I'm guessing that's why mine displays as v 1.5.0.

now this mod have bug. In the Blacksmith DLC quest Adept, when carrying sacks, Henry cannot place it on the wagon.

It'll be an immediate change, I believe, since it's not a modifier, it's overriding the game's files.

Shouldn't have any issues. The game keeps track of animal spawns - so if you install the mod, and enter an area with wild game, the mod's level files will override the game's base spawns.

Thank you for your work Actalo :kcdgkw: I had a question: if I install this mod after it's been patched, will the existing save file still be playable? (I assume I'd just need to skip a few in-game days for it to start working?)

This mod breaks the entire world... because WH stuck spawn settings into the map level files... so... I'm aware, and will patch it when I have some time. Meanwhile, you can just delete the "Levels" folder via the instructions above, and it'll work just fine, but without spawn edits.

Can confirm, this mod also breaks the "For Victory" quest when you get ambushed in the forest going to nebakov.
Other than that it works fine for me, and I really like it, my fix is to just disable the mod for that sequence and re enable it after.

This mod will break any time WH patches the levels files. It rarely happens with hotfixes, but 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 both make extensive edits to files associated with this mod - thus, it requires updates. However, I don't have time for it right now, because the mod takes quite a bit of time to update. I'll try and patch it this weekend.

Yeah, just noticed that this mod (for now) breaks the intro siege mission, causing all NPCs and enemies to disappear.

Super weird bug related to the last version of this that was up on nexus, but just this one and no other realish mods; after talking to Peter of Pisek to try and get the quest for Mysteria Ecclesia, there won't be any letter added and simply no quest appears. Very strange lol.

If you read the Change Notes, you'll see the Sept 9th, v3.11 update, reset domestic spawns to default.

Did you change the spawn behavior for sheep and cows? I swear there used to be dozens of them, but since the latest update their numbers seem to have been reduced or reverted back to vanilla

You can't find it, because it's not there. Explore the pak file using winrar or 7zip, delete the "Levels" folder and its contents. You don't need to unpak or repak.

LOTF wasn't even even released in July, which means you were on another Beta. I do appreciate when users let me know about bugs; however, dude, you can't be telling mod authors their mods have bugs if you're not even playing on the same game version.

In fact, using mods while on a different game version is just asking for bugs - since mods, especially non-PTF mods, are explicitly designed to work with their corresponding game version, and usually require extensive updates every new game version.

I’m playing the closed beta for the 3rd DLC.
With this mod on, Caspar Rudolph stopped selling wine at his wagon before the fountain, but strolled around Kuttenberg, and I couldn’t talk to him until I turned this mod (and *only* this mod) off.

Although, to be fair, I believe he initially was at his wagon, and only after some event (maybe trying to start the 3rd DLC questline by talking to Peter of Pisek?) did he start strolling around.

Regarding breaking LOTF, I was refering to my comment from 29 Jul @ 5:20pm ; this is why I came here to report, but if you’d rather not know about potentially coming bugs, I will then abstain from giving feedback.

No, it does not. I was playing the game a few days ago and the quest-giver is exactly where he is supposed to be, so the quest should start normally.

With this mod on, you won’t be able to start the DLC3 questline: you can talk to Peter of Pisef, but the quest won’t start, and you won’t be able to talk to him again afterwards.

IIRC, it also broke some things with the Legacy of the Forge DLC.

Hello,
I believe this mod breaks the "In Vino Veritas" quest, by making Casper Rudolph go about his business in Kuttenberg (strolling around the markets, or working around his house in the northern quarter) instead of selling wine near the fountain. He still appears on the map with his quest icon, but you cannot talk to him to start his quest.

I also believe it breaks starting the DLC3 questline (currently in beta) by not being able to talk to Peter of Pisek, but that would require more testing.

I've already updated and tested it for 1.4. If you're having issues, it's because you're using an older version. Unsubscribe and re-subscribe.

Terrain has an effect on animal vision, some terrain essentially blinds animals, despite the terrain's appearance. As far as horses being spooked, the mod doesn't edit any "enum" files regarding horses, so this mod shouldn't affect your horse courage - that's default behavior, even if you're anecdotally convinced it's the mod. You want brave horses? Use my Warhorse mod.

Hello. Im using this mod on the current live build in conjunction with realish stealth. You can still stand about 6 meters from a deer in full armor and jump up and down and they dont care. Essentially there is still no reason to sneak up on game animals to hunt them.

These changes to awareness seem to only affect the enemy animals because ive definitely been snuck up on by wild dogs and wolves (which is great).

One big issue is realish hunting, which i tested on its own, makes my horse 'gringolet' very cowardly; throwing me when facing just two bandits. I have max horsemanship and he is wearing horse armor. The courage stat is the same as it was before the mod so im not sure of the issue. Thanks for your mods, and i hope this is helpful!

That makes sense - since this mod changes the objectsmission file. However, I won't make changes until 1.4, since 1.4 ain't even out yet. So just to be clear, my mod doesn't cause any bugs in 1.3, you're just on the 'wrong' version of the game, 1.4, voluntarily. Please don't go reporting bugs to other mod authors, without first informing them you're on a different version of the game.

I also believe it breaks the "Legacy of the Forge" DLC, as the forge cannot be cleaned up/restored as intended (uncommon action prompts don’t work, similar to the ladders in Finger of God).

This mod breaks the "Finger of God" main quest: during the "Defend the castle!" task in the upcoming 1.4 version of the game (currently in beta): no ally appear on the battlements, and the enemies glitch out after setting up the ladders, which cannot be pushed back either.

Since no enemy is there to attack, the objective cannot be completed and the game won’t proceed further.

This mod alters an animal's reaction when they sense Henry. It has no effect on animal perception range, only their reactivity to events. I found no specific-to-animal perception parameters so I can only assume they rely on NPC parameters, which are unchanged by this mod.

No. But you can easily remove the all the files you don't want.
- Manually download the mod through Nexus.
- Or copy the Mod folder from Workshop content, place it in your Mods folder,
C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods
- Unsubscribe.
- Open up the PAK file, delete the inventory preset (harvests) in the item folder. In fact, you can delete any file in the mod without affecting the PAK's integrity so, it'll still work.

Would it be possible for you to make this modular? So a seperate version that only affects animal behaviour, and one that only affects what you harvest from them, etc?

@Lucasleepwalker Detection radius is not smaller, and it's also not affected by Survival. Survival acts as a damage multiplier against wild animals, harvest numbers, ambush events, etc. What affects detection timing is Stealth, and I don't touch Stealth. But maybe now I will, since I just took a look at some of the parameters. However, it'll be a different mod.

i think the detection radius is smaller than normal? im getting really close to some animals without them noticing, when i have near 100 conspicuous noise and visibility
