Thank you for playing and for your support! I've actually prepared a lot of fancier Lucky Boxes for the later stages of the game. However, I'm currently having trouble coming up with new ideas of unique loot and mechanics that would properly match these boxes, so I apologize for that. The mod's positioning is intended to be similar to Minecraft's Lucky Blocks.

3. Being trapped in obsidian cage ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS, bro. First time I just died, next time I teleported home. This is ok, but costs time. Later could mine out. This is quite annoying overall, but tolerable.

4. I found the "special pickaxe" to surgically collect the boxes. I did this a couple of times, but didn't utilize them yes. Later on I was too lazy to use that pickaxe and went back to smashing in-place.

5. The big questionmark constructs are ugly as F.

6. I am wondering if the coupons would ever work in my game, since I have "Auto Reforge" active.

7. Mob spawn on smashing is kinda cool. Loot is quite a bit more exotic/chaotic. So: that's nice !

Conclusion:
I guess I just don't understand the complex mod yet. A real documantaion would be greatly helpful. My verdict is "I dunno if I REALLY need or like this". Like a "sidegrade". I will keep it and study it more though.

Hi Amalgam.

I stumbled upon this about a year ago, while my current playthrough was in "mid-game". I learned/assumed from the description that it only works on newly created worlds, so I memorized this mod for my next world.

Now I have it active in a new world, and am a bit dissappointed, maybe I was expecting something else...

1. The blocks are tiny. Not that it's hard to click, but I was expecting colorfull, sparkling "chests" (like the default ones). So you are instinctively excited to see them.

2. There is Fortune and Misfortune. Ok. Whatever. Fair I guess! I have not tried messing with either of it yet. But I can't imagine a use case for misfortune. Is it something like the positive and negatice traits in Daggerfall's character creation, where you MUST introduce some bad traits, to enable the good ones?

Thanks for the support! Yes, I’ll continue updating this mod when I have time. The plan is to add more box types tied to specific progression stages, each with its own event pool. While it’s not exactlylike the dynamic-pool system you mentioned, the staged boxes should deliver a similar sense of progression.

Really cool mod, can't wait to see more done with this! I presume by in the description that you'll add more boxes for further game progression, that each box event pool is set to specific stuff? There's this old lucky block mod I played on 1.3.5 where it was a single block type but would change its event pool as you progress further, and I was wondering if this worked the same way or not. Just thought I'd ask about that

Please carefully check which materials are consumed during crafting. If the crafting recipe only involves the Luck Box and (Mis)Fortune themselves, then this recipe is for modifying luck values. Additionally, pay attention to the position of the Luck Box items in your inventory during crafting – the system prioritizes consuming items with the lowest index number, so ensure the item whose luck value you wish to modify is placed furthest forward in your inventory slots.

Hello sorry to bother. How to increase luck of boxes? I couldn't figure it out. I also can only craft 1 box but then I have to throw it out of invo to craft more otherwise they just craft each other and waste resources haha

To directly obtain Lucky Blocks without destroying them, you need the special in-mod prefix 'Lucky Touch' for your gathering tools. This prefix can be obtained via Prefix Coupons that drop from Lucky Blocks themselves.

You can craft using 10 lucks at a heavy workbench and gain extra luck points. when crafting, the system will prioritize box with a earlier index in your inventory. pls note the order of items
