Friendly AI aircraft seem to plummet very shortly after the first island is taken, can this be adjusted to where the bases keep cranking out fly bois

why does our main island and carriers literally stop firing long range air-to-air missiles?.. did they run out? After the first engagement the navy will continue forward but it seems like they have depleteted the entire ammo cache since they stop shooting?

I also saw several of our AI planes completely ignore enemy aircraft that just allowed them to AGM spam the carrier they took off from to death..

@[TSF] Mason 1290 I would like to tweak it heavily, but i'll need to wait for the devs to implement more options for the mission editor, and a way of course to rescue pilots or at least a timer to make them dispawn :steamthumbsup:

@B26Marauder been testing before making resist and bite, but the amount of triggers and stuff i had for the mission in heartland caused performance problems, but i would like to make a heartland one yeah :steamthumbsup:

any ideas about making literally this but on Heartland? (ik about resist and bite, but it's different) Or will you wait for next mostly ground desert 160x80 map?

the issue i had with the mission, was that there is no rescue system in the game for pilots. so, after youre forces get done with the first island base, they attack the next few islands. by that point, 40~60% of your air forces are gone. then attacking the main island chain puts the rest into the water. then the enemy has infinite air spawns for some reason. sure its maybe only 4 or 6, but they keep pumping out aircraft while the friendly forces do not.

this makes it so you have to do everything yourself. the amount of anti-aircraft is insane. needing to use long range ballistic missile systems to knock out enemy systems with saturation attacks, alone.

@Bluetail 1-2 hours is fairly fast, i've seen 4 hours so far :steamthumbsup:

@Socks you should take control and manage the fleet, send them where do you need the ships to be, so that will avoid these island rams :steamthumbsup:

I like this mission, and nearly beat it, but the friendly corvettes and carriers seem to just ram into the islands after you take the initial air base.

Talon One hosts this mission and it's very much fun, it gets done within a hour to two hours with 25 players lol

It doesn't seem like the carrier in Harmony sands moves, what did you do to stop it from bee-lining straight for the PALA fleet?

I finally got around to finishing this map :D

took 4:44:47 long, but it was very enjoyable

a lot of long range missiles shot from a darkreach :p

@John Helldiver i guess so, but the planes reserve can be depleted too even before finish the mission, just depends about how the AI performs. Anyway is going to be a long mission xD :steamthumbsup:

@John Helldiver, managed to beat this on default settings by myself in a little more than 3 hours. Most fun i've had in the since the tank buster scenario

@Leeron yeah, you need to find a good team to beat it in less than 3 hours, but anyway, the important thing is to finish it :steamthumbsup:

@xDanilor glad you like it, and yeah with a few ppl can be a really long mission, i always recommend to be atleast 4 ppl to play it bcs it is a difficult one :steamthumbsup:

played this with my friend yesterday, we had a lot of fun (well i did haha, my friend kept dying) but we ran out of time and couldn't finish it. Today we're gonna smash through it.

You did a great job! I'm loving these well-made naval missions

@Anikeev.vlad1 Oh didn't know the AFV6 had worst performance than AFV8, anyway i'm still changing stuff and testing the performance, so yeah i'll make changes :steamthumbsup:

Good mission. But little lack optimization. Remove IFV6 to IFV8 to improve optimization. And on the begining probably not need so huge fleet. Last part of fleet can come after capturing first island
