PALA Conquest of Ignus

PALA starts with just their carrier fleet, launching a massive assault on Harmony Sands base, the first step of the Operation.

Manage the PALA fleet to accomplish the operation objectives, capturing Feldspar City, and finishing off the BDF capabilities at Ignus. Losing all the carriers will be a total defeat, manage and take care of them to get the victory.

PALA forces are completely naval and airborne, no ground forces apart from the ones landing and being drop by Tarantulas, so it will be necessary to clear every place to make them easy to capture it.

The BDF will be counterattacking against all the PALA attemps to take Ignus, so make sure to put some balance between your attack and defense, carriers will be your strong and weak points. Warheads are limited, there is no production so use them carefully, as your planes which are limited for a long period of time.

The mission works, but still under testing and improvement. The mission duration is around 2-3 hours in Multiplayer with enough people. Good luck.

Friendly AI aircraft seem to plummet very shortly after the first island is taken, can this be adjusted to where the bases keep cranking out fly bois

why does our main island and carriers literally stop firing long range air-to-air missiles?.. did they run out? After the first engagement the navy will continue forward but it seems like they have depleteted the entire ammo cache since they stop shooting?

I also saw several of our AI planes completely ignore enemy aircraft that just allowed them to AGM spam the carrier they took off from to death..

@[TSF] Mason 1290 I would like to tweak it heavily, but i'll need to wait for the devs to implement more options for the mission editor, and a way of course to rescue pilots or at least a timer to make them dispawn :steamthumbsup:

@B26Marauder been testing before making resist and bite, but the amount of triggers and stuff i had for the mission in heartland caused performance problems, but i would like to make a heartland one yeah :steamthumbsup:

any ideas about making literally this but on Heartland? (ik about resist and bite, but it's different) Or will you wait for next mostly ground desert 160x80 map?

the issue i had with the mission, was that there is no rescue system in the game for pilots. so, after youre forces get done with the first island base, they attack the next few islands. by that point, 40~60% of your air forces are gone. then attacking the main island chain puts the rest into the water. then the enemy has infinite air spawns for some reason. sure its maybe only 4 or 6, but they keep pumping out aircraft while the friendly forces do not.

this makes it so you have to do everything yourself. the amount of anti-aircraft is insane. needing to use long range ballistic missile systems to knock out enemy systems with saturation attacks, alone.
