This mod is just a prop, a scenery object. It's not a mod for setting up radioactive areas. If you're looking for a good mod to create your own radioactive areas, look for Simple Radiation. It's what I use on my server. To create more immersive custom areas, I created these props. That's all.

do you need a suit for protection? Or just a gas mask? Is there a radiation protection setting?

A custom airfield in Livonia features a secured laboratory at one end. Evidence suggests a classified project was being produced here and routinely shipped out. The cargo required radioactive material. During a landing, a C-130 carrying a load of barrels lost control when an infected on board triggered chaos. The transport crashed on approach; several barrels remain inside the fuselage, with others scattered along the wreck. The scene is highly detailed, and survivors have already given the site a nickname: “The Fridge.”

That's great! Good to know it's being useful. That's the purpose. I couldn't find any other barrel with a profile that kept the DayZ look as original as possible, so I made one. I'm using mine on the Sakhal map, and you?
